So, as some of you know, my DW and I have spent the past 7 years trying to get either one of us pregnant. We've been through the ringer and I've had repeated IVF failures despite having good embryos that fertilize and grow way beyond statistical averages.
We hit the point where we realized that we couldn't walk away yet even though the advice of our doctors was that they could no longer give us expectations of success. So, we gave it one last desperate try.
Tomorrow I will be 11 weeks pregnant. We've had three ultrasounds and the baby is doing really well. S/he is moving around, waving arms and kicking. Of course, I can't feel any of this so I freak out and worry a lot.
But, I'm almost ready to believe my dreams.
I loved the way you all supported Jenn & Nelson and I wanted to share my news. I'm scared, but, dreaming.
