I just called off work today. I did not get better. My mom is going to get some food and stuff to help me. I plan to get lots of rest and water I don't think I can go back to sleep until I eat something so I will wait until my mom gets back. I have some Blueberries and Cherries so that might help me. Also my mom went to get Tomato soup When my throat hurts I like to eat hot Tomato soup When my throat was really hurting in Disney a couple months ago ( I got really sick durning my birthday week at DisneyWorld ) I really wanted that Tomato soup that they have at the 1900 park fair That was the last time that I had a sore throat until now. I just hope that I don't get that sick again.

I don't think I will get that sick again. I was so sick that I had to take notes when I was talking to cast members on some of those days. One girl thought that I could not hear her I just wrote down telling her that I could hear, but my voice was about gone and it hurt like hell to talk. The one reason I left my room those days was because A. This was my Disney Birthday week vacation that I had been planning for so long so I was not going to let this stop me from going to the parks and having a good time B. I kinda felt like it would be better anyways to get out in the open and get fresh air and not just lay around in the hotel room all day long >

I will say that I did sleep in a lot when I was sick. Being sick did cause me to go back to my room early a couple of times and to sleep in more. Plus I did not go to downtown disney like I wanted to. When my Birthday did come I was feeling better, but I was still pretty sick. At first I thought I might was going to have to rest in my hotel room until it was about time for my cute little Suzy and Perla dinner. But I started feeling better so I was able to go to the Magic Kingdom before my Suzy and Perla dinner.

I had a lot of fun at the 1900 park fair even though I was sick. I gots lots of pictures taken with Suzy and Perla. Also they had Suzy and Perla come to my table when they sang happy birthday to me and I got a photo taken with them while I had a crown on my head I also got another photo with Suzy and Perla together in the lobby I was so happy to see Suzy and Perla on my birthday that I started to feel so much better I do believe that being happy can really help you feel better when you are sick

Okay, I was gonna stay quiet, but must comment. I have seen other posters post that they or their family went into the parks sick and they have been flamed, big time. I didn't agree with going sick, but I actually felt sorry for the posters. But FC posts this and gets nothing but hopes for his well being.

I plan on getting flamed for this, but it seems as if some posters want to step very lightly and not hurt his feelings. My feelings and others on this board have not been this well protected.

Also, if an adult chooses to post in a child like manner (not due to disabilities) they should expect to be picked on. They are putting a bullseye on their back and then complaining when they get hit. I just find it very strange how much FC is protected and "why" I'm not sure. I'm expecting . Sorry, but I just had to comment.

No flames from me. I agree. If I said I just got back and I had been real sick but went to the parks anyways you bet I would have been called to the mat. If he is so "childlike" than does he really belong here on what is mostly an adult board? Maybe he should move to the teen board.
Whatever...he seems to have his fan club and protectors for whatever reason, but I would venture to say that most of us here see through him.

Last year I got sick in Disney with a sore throat, fever, all the good stuff. I decided to stay put in my hotel room for 2 whole days, because I did not want to get anyone intentionally sick. So what is one to do when you miss 2 days from a trip....PLAN ANOTHER ONE!! Which I did. And FC sounds like he goes very often, including day trips, so why couldnt one (who goes so very often...) just stay out of the park to avoid getting the rest of us who also "paid a lot for rooms and tickets" from getting sick?
