The last 2 threads I started disappeared! Any idea why???

P.S. If this one disappears too, I'm taking it personally!

What were the threads you posted on? It could have been determined the thread was spam and deleted by the moderator. A lot of spammers show up in this section of the boards and are dealt with accordingly.

What were the threads about, I can see if I can help you find them or find out what happened to them. I do see several threads that you have started.

I am going to move this to the Technical Support board.

You're right...there are several threads still active.

Oh, I didn't realize there was a Technical Support board. One thread was asking if it would be better for our family to take the monorail or drive our car between MK and Epcot, and the other was about the castle dreamlights starting Nov. 4th instead of the 8th and how I was REALLY happy about that change in the schedule.

I don't think either topic could be considered spam. I've asked several questions on here and have not had a problem until now.

Here they are:
Drive or monorail from MK to Epcot?

Castle dreamlights earlier???

Do you subscribe to your threads? There is information in the Welcome Board FAQ on how to do that--let me know if you need help. Or you can click on your username and go to your public profile. Under Statistics you can click on find all threads by and get a list of your threads (and posts with the find all posts by option there)

I've never subscribed to any thread. I'll have to read about that. Thanks for finding them for me!

I am having issues with seven threads:
From my profile screen I choose:
Show all statistics
Under the Statistics I choose:
Find all posts by com_op_2000
All seven posts from 10-30-2011 are missing from the search results.
If I choose:
Find all threads started by com_op_2000
The two posts I started on 10-30-2011 show up.
I am under the impression, that if you post to a thread you are automatically subscribed to the thread, and should be able to find your results using the searches on your profile page.
Yesterday I posted to Disney for Families, Disney for Adults and Solo Travelers, multiple DVC, and the DCL forums.

You are not automatically subscribed unless you have that option set in your User CP.

I was able to find these from 10/30

There may have been some hiccups in the Search function the last few days.

I was able to find the thread about traveling from MK to Epcot by clicking on my name and searching for all posts by me, but the castle dreamlights thread is still not showing up. Very strange!

I think it has to do with some search hiccups like I told the previous poster. Do the "find all threads by" from your profile and it shows up there.

There are some major hiccups - I can not find any post that I have made since 10/27/2011 when I do a search on all my post from my user profile.

This happens to me ALL the time. For instance, I know I posted in a thread about the November Fantasmic schedule and that thread has since disappeared. None of my posts are showing for the last couple of days either. I even searched the EXACT words I posted and... nothing. There were two threads about the schedule posted at relatively the same time, but I replied to the one thread and someone replied to my post in that thread, so I know the post went through. The search feature on this site... well, for lack of a better word, it sucks. LOL! Oh well... nothing I can do about it I suppose. Subscribing to every thread would be the only option, but it's not that important. Still... it's frustrating!:rotfl:

Not sure if either one of these is what you are looking for?

This one is about the November Schedule
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2825836

And this one about the crowd level that you posted on several times:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=43073526

As I said, search here does sometime have it cranky moments but it is way better than it has been in the past. When I first became active here several years ago there was NO search option at all.

But there is an easy way around it-- just do a google search with the format site:disboards.com username (insert your username). If you do an advanced search in google you can even specify the time frame to be searched to help narrow things down a little. But if it is important to you the best thing to do is to subscribe.

When I went to my statistics and clicked "find all posts" the results show the one post I made today and then the next post down is from 10/28/11!?!? This site is wackadoodle.
