So we just got back from WDW and went to MNSSHP on 09/16/2011 had a great time faily crowded, but the worst part was leaving at the end.
IT was bad, with no late night mono there was a mad crush for the ferry, we were there for the EMH at the MK as well and the EMH was far busier but was easy to get out of compared to the halloween party, I think in part the EMH is for guest staying on site so allot took the busses or resort launches but with MNSSHP open to the public allot of folks had no choice but to take the ferry, Disney had no crowd control at the beginnig of the lines so people were jocking for position, people either didin't see or want to get into the stroller/wheelchair line to teh left and were jsut pushing into the crowd, when the ferry boat would load kind of reminded me of the old concert days of general admission when the doors would open and you would be swept with the crowd, I can see where this could be a problem with little kids, we told our DD 13 that if we get seperated just keep moving and well catch up.
Here is my thought, where EMH is part of regular park admission as long as you are staying on site and MNSSHP is a seperate hard ticket event at a rather premium price (it cost around $193 for the 3 of us) I think that Disney should have the monorails running for these seperate ticket events.
I will be sending my thoughts to Guest services. No anger just a suggestion
What do you think?
Thanks Dave Goofydad Dionne
