I noticed that Webmaster Kathy closed the thread about swimwear because of personal attacks.


Personal attacks are happening on more and more threads.

Yes I have. I'm the first to admit that I have been rude to some posters.

I also remember a thread I made awhile back appologizing for the way I had been acting. I've not seen the people who really need to be doing that, doing that.

I agree with you, people should make threads appologizing for their behavior if it has been bad, it makes everyone calmer in a way

I pmed her saying that there were some problems, she never responded, just closed the thread.

left the thread open with the alter that was chewing me out.

Mike and I started talking to her.

She admitted she was an alter, but kept trying to get me to guess who. Frankly, I don't care. I told her that her little stunt was pointless, becuase in a months time, no one will remember that, and in a month, I'm still going to be a main TB poster. She didn't do anything. Then she stopped talking and got offline.

Little does Sparx know, she is plotting some unorthadox come back to yet again stir up trouble that no one cares about to solve nothing.

It was weird. Her name was "c'est moi"...like she couldn't have put it in english.
The whole night was weird.

She was saying random insults that didn't make any sense. And I didnt' really want to chew her out, but honestly, she just wasn't stopping on here. I've not heard anything out of her since, and if I do again, I'll get her banned. I'm sick and tired of her.

I think one of the contributing factors to the rudeness on these boards, is that people just misunderstand you. You can't hear someone's tone of voice when you're reading their post, so it's hard to understand if they are trying to be offensive or not.

Maybe we all just need to cool it for a while, and think about what they could have meant before posting on our first impressions. I have done this at times too, everybody takes things the wrong way at some time or another.

Everyone's is at times. Sarcasm is the lowest form of humour, and some people just take it as rude, rather than a joke. Shelby, you are very sarcastic, and that's not a problem most of the time, it's just when someone who misinterprets sarcasm reads your posts, they think it's go time.

Actually, we are all great. Maybe we just get touchy and we can be hard to get along with. But when the day is done, we all still are friends, for the most part.

That's my take on it....

But the mods coming on here more often would be good. Or maybe it's just like a lot of people have said, the last few months haven't been so good???

I think I read a Travis post that said he was reading posts and everything but not signing on. Still, I am going out on a limb to assume that he has been really busy lately, because some of our problems haven't been getting the attention they should.
