Thanks guys. Sully was just 2 this past July.
As a matter of fact I found him the day after he was born. One of the barncats at my IL's had a litter but noone could find them. I went walking around and was thinking about where I'd want to be giving birth, which is somewhere small, quiet and dark. Sure enough, I found mama and her babies in an unused doghouse.
FIL and one of the workers picked up the whole thing and moved it into the barn. When he was big enough he came to live with us.
It's funny... that skinnly little tail he has in the first picture turned into one of the fattest and fluffiest cat tails I'd ever seen.
I still can't believe he's gone and have a million questions as to what happened. Big sigh. I still don't know what to say to DD.

2 is so young, but it sounds like he had 2 wonderful years with you.
