"My Strange Addiction"

DW and I are now official DCL cruise addicts... we just got off the 1/3 Magic cruise and already had 2 cruises booked on the Dream and managed to book 2 more for MR and WC while onboard... but not a bad addiction if you ask me.

I am really addicted to Disney anything. We got to Disney in some sort every year. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

omg! My sil is not a huge Disney parks fan but does have Pooh holding a balloon on her calf and Tink on the back of her shoulder.

I have Mickey on my ankle.

No Disney body art, but my house is obnoxiously packed with WDW and DCL stuff. When we moved to Celebration, I swore I would not give in to the sterotype and have a "Disney House." Yeah, right. The entry foyer is all Figment, Stitch, and the Incredibles, while the family room is a homage to our many Disney cruises. What is it the Borg says? Oh, yeah, "Resistance is futile."

We do go other places too only b/c I want my kids to see plenty of our great country (Grand Canyon/Sedona/Williamsburg/Niagara Falls/Blue Ridge Mts). So much more we still want to see (Redwoods in CA, Mt.Rushmore, and so on.) but we weave 'other' places in between Disney trips. Makes me appreciate DCL that much more.

I think I qualify!
Since our first cruise in October, I eat sleep breath DCL...
my "addiction" is pretty serious to the point where I picked up a weekend part time job working at the Disney Store at the Mall of America, just so I can get the discounts on anything disney
am I the only one whos in this deep?

You aren't the only one! I just started working at the Disney Store in October (and became a permanent cast member as of 1/24), b/c of my love of all things Disney! I am sailing again in October (my 5th Disney cruise), and I'd sail a LOT more than that if I could afford it and if I lived closer. If it weren't for the cost of airfare, I'd definitely have more $$ to sail more often!

Beware! The next step in this insidious addiction is moving to Florida. DCL is literally part of the reason we are here. We had an eventual plan to move to FL because of the warmth, but then we fell in love with cruising (we were already coming regularly for WDW). One day I was scheduled to attend a conference at the Swan/Dolphin, so DH came down with me so he could play in the parks while I worked (nice guy, LOL). We decided to check out the shoreside DCL office, which is in Celebration. We toured the town, fell in love, and I looked at him and said, "Let's move here now." Mr. I'm-Just-As-Addicted-As-Her said, "Okay!" Now we pass the shoreside building nearly every day.
