Thanks for your help everyone! Great advice and lots to consider. After some prayer and a great consultation with the ortho--and your input--we've decided to reschedule. Already rebooked for November, now just hoping it will stick!

I would postpone rather than subject his healing body to the stress of a Disney trip.

I think you made a good decision. The trip will be a lot more enjoyable in November. Hope your son's break heals quickly and he can enjoy the summer, even if it's not at Disney.
