My son did something cute!

My son has a severe speech delay and doesn't speak unless prompted. He has a few words unprompted but not a lot.

I was looking on Dis last night and someones siggy had a countdown with mickey as the ticker he comes over and points at the screen (at mickey) and says DISNEY? (clear as day) I say Yes, Mickey's in Disney! He goes oooooo WOW!

That is great! As a mom with two children with speech issues, I know that feeling when the words seem to magically come out

Thanks...everyone it does make me feel soo good. As you can probably tell by my change in my siggy it used to be a mickey mouse pumpkin shape for MNSSHP but I changed that SOOO quickly!

I am know to my friends as the Disney know it all...so they are all telling me I have trained him well. How appropriate one of his first words would have to do w/ Disney
