My Soggy Thread for Today

OK - they brought in the bomb squad - stopped traffic on 7th Avenue and 40th Street. Never a word from the security in my building to evacuate or stay away from the windows.

X-rayed the bag, and finally opened it - a bag of clothes!! This all went on for an hour.

MY NERVES!!!!!!!!!!

That's got to be nervewracking, but it's better safe than sorry.

Does it make me a bad mother that I am actually considering driving to Target and buying ANOTHER DVD player for the trip? That way either both kids can have one to watch, or we'll have a back up for when the battery goes dead after 2 hours and a few minutes? I need one with mega battery. But ours is red and Disney and so cute. Ah hell. I have a crabby 2 year old. Any amount of money is worth it if it makes her happy and no passengers want to throttle her.
