my sister's 40th birthday

Help!!!

My sister and I do an adult only trip to WDW about every 8 months to a year. This year, we're going March 10-14, and it just so happens that its her 40th birthday during that time. I'm looking for something REALLY special to suprise her with, but we are on a semi budget. Any ideas??? I'd also like someplace for dinner that they will sing to her.

I wish I could be at WDW to celebrate -- you guys are going to have a WONDERFUL TIME!

As far as where to go that would be special, my absolute favorite restaurant is California Grill... The food is phenomenal and the view of Cinderella's Castle cannot be beat, imo! The only problem is that they don't have anyone who sings there, per se. I'm sure the waiters would sing "Happy Birthday," but there isn't a proper strolling singer or anything, if that's what you had in mind. Another place we went that was very enjoyable and did have a strolling musician (violinist) was Palio at the Swan. The food there was also very good, the atmosphere lovely and the service excellent. It's also less expensive than CG, which might be important since you're on a budget.

I'd definitely take her to her favorite park on her birthday -- whatever that may be! It might also be nice to relax by the pool later in the day, have cocktails and take things at a leisurely pace... Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time!

I had my birthday dinner in Mexico. They seated me by the water. It was wonderful. After dinner the waiters sung Happy Birthday to me in Spanish. We had the CP prackage so the costs were up there but if you just have dinner why not split it to save costs. Then you can have dessert somewhere else in the WS. Gina

Sorry I forgot. Don't forget to have her pick up It's my birthday pin at Guest relations. If you are staying on site. Mickey will call her up on the phone to wish her happy birthday and if not they will do it for her in a gift shop. Gina
