My Siamese Cat is a Drama Queen!

One of our Siamese girls has asthma.

It started to flare up again so it was off to the Vet this morning for a shot to get it under control. What a serenade I got driving there! Thank goodness it's only a short trip. She did well with the shot but since we've gotten home she's complained to everyone (other cats and people) that would listen to her.

Currently she sitting on my lap purring like crazy but throwing in a comment or two from time to time.

Hope she's feeling better soon and her asthma flare-ups decrease.

Mine are super-noisy in the car, too, but as soon as we let them out of their carriers at home, they quiet down.

We have an asthmatic cat, too. I'm pleased to say she's only had one flare-up that necessitated a trip to the vet's because it was all we could do to get her into the carrier. She's a little bit of a thing with a stubby tail, but this was one of those cases where size didn't matter . Geesh, did she fight. We finally had to wrap her in a towel, hold the carrier with the opening toward the ceiling, and drop her in rear first. Then I had to listen to her all the way to the vet's office, a 20 minute drive. Amazingly, she was good as gold for her examination and shot.

I love my cats, but I'll never be able to figure them out .....

Growing up we had a Siamese kitty who never was quiet! I think they like to listen to themselves, self-centered babies they are

I also had a tabby that shrieked like an alley cat when I tried to take him out of the carrier at the vets. He would actually scream. He went to the vets as little as possible! He was kind of scary!
