We celebrated my birthday in the World last week, and my sister took me to the store at DTD to shop for scrap stuff. I agree with what others have posted, that the pickings are pretty slim. I did manage to spend some money, though
. I got a package of the 2007 coordinated papers, frames, and borders, the 40 page spiral bound book that has park specific papers, the 200 ct stickers that include one roll of stickers for each park, the castle punch, and the book of sticker quotes. I also bought another package of papers, borders, and frames that have the "Where dreams come true" theme. I bought 2 packages of sticker sheets, one with the "Where magic lives" theme, and one that is both characters and quote bubbles.
I usually buy myself one big ticket item as a souvenir (Mickey head earrings one year, a tennis bracelet last year), but this year nothing grabbed me. SO...when DH and the kids were at his company picnic yesterday, I toodled on over to AC Moore and bought myself a Xyron 510
. It was $60 on sale for $36, so I still haven't spent anywhere NEAR what I usually do on my birthday
.
I have 228 pics from my digital camera, 27 on the waterproof camera I took to Blizzard Beach, and 75 on the Photopass CD that I pre-ordered and that will arrive by Saturday
. When I bought my Cricut back in May, the first 2 carts I bought were the Mickey Font and Mickey and Friends, so I think I'm pretty well supplied now
. The kids go back to school in 12 days, so September should be a HUGE scrapping month for me with this Disney project!!!
