Hi Everyone,
We have been back for over a week, but wanted to tell everyone about the
Best Western LBV.
We truely enjoyed our stay at this down town Disney hotel.
We had a room on the 17th floor with a great view. We could see DTD with all the
strobe lights but not the fireworks. The room was very clean and a little larger than
your average size room. It had all the amenities we were looking for. Coffee maker,
iron and ironing board, an in room safe, table and chairs in the room as well as on the
balcony. A seperate dressing area from the bathroom(good for rushed mornings)
It was so nice to sit on the balcony in the morning with a coffee and watch the sun come up.
The lobby was undergoing a complete remodel and I would say that they are 3/4 of the
way done. It is going to be really nice. The only thing I would say they needed to remodel
would be their elevators, they looked a little worn.
We were able to watch the firworks at Epcot from the lounge at the top of the hotel.
The pool area was very nice. Lots of chairs and they provided towels. The pool never
seemed to be busy at any time which was great for us.
We didn't use the free busses at the resort because we had our own van. But there
was a sign posted that the busses ran 1 hour before park openings and 1 hour after
park closing and every 1/2 hour in between. They seemed to be there quite often.
Overall we really liked this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.
We reserved this room through DreamRes. for 59.00 a night. We stayed for 12 nights.
The sign on the back of the hotel room door said this room went for 199.00 a night.
I don't think I could afford to pay that price, but if I could get another deal through
DreamRes I would definately stay at The BWLBV again.
