I see you'll be spending your last full day - a Saturday - at MK. I've never been to MK on a Saturday but I hear it gets really crowded because all the locals visit.

Debbie

Boma: definitely go!

Tues at Epcot: LOVE beaches & cream. I might try a dinner at Epcot that evening- so many to choose from. My kids love Biergarten.

Wed: How about dinner at Universal- Pastamore is pretty good. Or maybe eat off- world on the way home. Charley's has great steaks and Bahama Breeze is good casual food.

Fri: where are you staying?

Sat: You already have Plaza down for earlier in the week. Kona at Poly is one of my favorite lunch spots- a nice break from the park and the food is very good.

Sounds like a lot of good eatting!! Definately go to Boma!! The food is fabulous!! I agree with AmandaC, I would do a WS dinner. My favorite is Le Cellier, cheese soup, pretzel bread, steaks, YUM!! Have a great trip!! ::yes::

What hotel are you staying at and how many times have you been to Disney? Who are you traveling with? Need this info before I can do meaningful recommendations. Thanks:)

We've never been able to get by on less than 2 Epcot days.

Also, there are fabulous restaurants inside Epcot...no real reason to leave the park for a meal IMO. If you have kids, our kids have enjoyed Marrakech and Biergarten. They even got thru Akershus just fine.

Agree - eat in WS. Our kids (8 & 12) favorite restaurant in all of WDW is the Teppanyaki in Japan. We also love LeCellier and SanAnglo.

Have fun

I agree with above and highly reccomend Marrakesh in Morrocco over leaving to the Beach Club.

Also why not have lunch in the castle at Cinderellas instaed of 2 meals at the Plaza Inn. they have a great and reasonable lunch menu, OR, since Sat will likelt be very busy, consider taking a break and eating at whispering Canyon at Wilderness lodge. It's only a quick boat ride from the MK.

My only suggestion is to switch one of your days during the week for the MK. MK is soooo crowded on the weekends, we find the crowds more manageable on the weekdays.

we are staying @ hawthorn suites lbv

we have been there 1x before (me i've been ther few times b4)

i think lecellier would be $85 for us - kind of expensive.

can u tell me more about Whispering Canyon Cafe ? (the boat ride there)
and also, can you tell me which one u would choose,
Kona Cafe VS Whispering Canyon (for lunch on Sat)

MK - Don't forget to get a Dole Whip (Adventureland I think).
MGM - Are you not staying for Fantasmic?
EPCOT - Are you not staying for Illuminations? Why not eat (like others have said) in one of the countries? Isn't the Food & Wine Festival going on? I too think you could easily do 2 days at EPCOT. I would switch Sat MK for Fri instead. Definately do WCC. Going to WL is great just to see the resort & take the boat but you'll love the fun atmosphere of WCC. For your "free" day I would go back to EPCOT again & do whatever you missed the 1st day & maybe go over to the Boardwalk or go to DTD, lots to do there. I recommend that for your last day & then buy your souvenirs at DTD.
Have a fun time!

It sounds like your looking for some value priced meals. You can review all the menus of Disney Resturants and prices at http://www.allearsnet.com. I have found this extremely helpful in deciding where to go. I definately would not want to even go to Epcot without eating there at least once. Some of the resturants are quite reasonable especially for lunch like the San Angel Inn. Also, I always stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and always eat at Bomas. I actually enjoy the breakfast buffet more than the dinner buffet and it's alot cheaper. I love ordering my own omlet and the Frunch (a tropical drink) is delicious. For your free day you could try some of the resturants in down town Disney. I'm planning to eat at Bongo's Cuban Cafe. Their prices seemed pretty reasonable and I've heard good reviews. It looks like it has good atmosphere too. Have a delicious time!

Whispering Canyon is loads of fun, though we thought the food was just average at best. The servers do their best to enlighten the meal by yelling, joking, teasing, and getting kids AND adults to do games. For instance, when we were there, all the dads got up to do a buttercup song and dance routine. Quite humorous as you can imagine.

Most posters I've read actually enjoy the food at WC, with many of them going for the all-u-can-eat skillet meals. We weren't that hungry, so DW and DD had roasted chicken and I had nachos. My nachos were flat out mediocre--canned-tasting meat sauce, very little cheese and sour cream, no jalapenos. The chicken was okay, but dry. The mashed potatoes were good, however. Still, we'd likely go again if only to try something different. Oh, and if you go, be sure to ask for ketchup. ::yes::

thanks! i think i will stick w/ kona or plaza, for sat, not sure which one

Another vote for moving your 2nd MK day to non-weekend (especially since your first MK day is also a weekend). Especially in the off season, it sounds like there's a bigger difference in attendance on weekends and weekdays. While the Plaza is good, I'm not sure it's worth a 2nd visit - especially given the variety of dining available.

The suggestion to look at an Epcot restaurant for lunch instead of Beaches and Cream is also worth considering. You're probably losing an hour by taking the time to leave the park for lunch. And Illuminations is now in our "can't miss" category. You could hit a different country to lunch AND dinner, and get some real variety at a reasonable price.

Lastly, if you're staying offsite, I'm not convinced it's worth it to go all the way back to the Epcot area for dinner, especially at the ESPN Zone. It's Ok, but not anything out of the ordinary. There's probably lots of off site restaurants you could hit between Universal and your hotel, for at least comparable (if not better) food and less money..... We were surprised at how time we spent actually going to places to eat (except counter service). Between planning to be in the right area at the right time, to actually taking the time to get there, AND the wait to be seated - even w/ a PS - you can lose some time.....

Any way you do it, sounds like you're in for a good time!

I agree with ErinInCT , don't forget to go over to Adventureland in MK and stop by the Dole Whip stand, only I say go for the Dole Whip Float!! Yum. Yum. Yum.

I would like to sugguest a lunch for your universal day try out margartiville in city walk! It's yummy.

thanks! so you guys think that for a LONG LUNCH or DINNER BREAK
Universal Day, because we will go to Horror Nites that Wed. and will already be there ALL DAY......

Should we leave the area and go to a rest. on I Drive or Citywalk? We never been to CITY WALK
