My reception...SOB

I just need to cry a bit here, so please bare with me. I got marrried July 4th on the Disney cruise and we had decided in order to celebrate with everyone, we would have a picnic. Well todays the day. We have not had rain here all summer, but today it is POURING! My hubby ran to the park to set up a tent and people are calling to see if it is still on. This is essentially my wedding reception... OK, I'm done, thanks for listening.

You know, they say if it rains on your wedding day (reception/picnic in this case) that you'll have no serious financial worries in your married life. I don't know who "they" are, but I hope it's true!!

Don't let the rain stop you...enjoy and savor every minute of it.
It totally does suck that it's raining, but it won't ruin the day unless you let it. Don't let it!!

It downpoured on my wedding day and our wedding was to be in a rose garden with no backup plan (what was I thinking?). We literally got married in a "shack" but it was dry. It wasn't what we planned but it was still everything we thought it would be, just only in a shack. I wouldn't change a thing and it provides for some good laughter and memories.

Hope for some sunshine and dry weather, then go out there and have a blast even if it is raining! Congratulations to you both!!
