I also had a Pyrex explode in the oven about a year ago. It truely was a mess(chicken with BBQ sauce).

I had this exact thing happen to me years ago. I was baking chicken and added water and it shattered before I even got the oven door closed. It really scared me and I had never had anything like that happen before. Now he asked me to get glass containers, so yesterday I bought a bunch of pyrex.... This thread is making me not want to use pyrex anymore!
