Doing my preliminary plans for EPCOT this trip. We are just two adults, no kids or anything. I've never really focused on seeing the live shows there before, so I thought we would do that this year. (We only used to make it a point to see Off Kilter and Mo'Rockin.) The times that are listed are when I aim to get to each thing. The last two years, we just poked around in the shops and was sort of looking for things to do, so I think having a little more planned will work better for us. We can skip things if needed and or adjust as we go, but we will have that option there if nothing else catches our eyes. I'm not like a total plan nazi or anything. Well, maybe a little... :rolleyes1

It's hard to believe I haven't caught these shows in past trips. Last year, we did happen to see that flag show in Italy, but only because we were seated at a window table and saw it while eating our lunch. We also wandered and happened to come upon British Revolution and the bit I saw was great, so I'd like to see the whole show.

Epcot Day 1 ~ 11/16/15 ~ figure we will leave Pop no later than 9am, after breakfast at resort.

10am Test Track FP+
11am Meet Belle in France
12 pm ADR Les Chefs de France
1:20 pm Impressions de France
1:50-2pm Morocco, meet Aladdin & Jasmine
2:45pm British Revolution
3:35pm Voices Of Liberty
4:15pm American Adventure
5:10pm China, meet Mulan and movie if time
6:15pm Jeweled Dragon Acobats
Lotus Blossom Café for dinner
Norway get a pastry and milk for dessert to eat while we wait for illuminations.
8pm Mexico Grand Caballeros
Illuminations

Epcot Day 2 ~ Rope Drop 11/19/15 ~ not recommended for this day, but I don't really have a choice. Crowd level projected at a 5.

Soarin'
Living With The Land
Spaceship Earth FP+
Les Halles lunch 11:20am
Paul McKenna Band 12:30
Ellen's Energy 1:15
JAMMitors 2pm
The Seas Tanks or break
Turtle Talk FP+ ? probably not needed but since I have 3 FP+
Nemo
Soarin' FP+ 4pm
Matsuriza 5pm
Teppan Edo ADR 5:50pm

Then back to resort. Have early flight in AM. :(

Questions:

Where in the UK does the Paul McKenna Band play?
I read the JAMMitors were in FW East, but can anyone give me a more specific area, please? Some landmarks, maybe.
As for the shows in Japan and China, are they just right outside the pavilions?

Wondering how bad the wait will be for Soarin' at rope drop? From charts I've looked at, looks like it could be as high as 45 minutes? My friend really enjoys that ride, and would like to do it twice, so I was thinking rope drop and FP+ is the way to go.

Thanks. :)

Specifically planning to see shows sounds good to me. We usually only see shows if we happen to be walking by when they start. The mime in Italy always puts on a good show as well. And we were walking through France last trip and there was a guy dressed up as a waiter doing an absolutely ridiculous handstand on top of 6 balanced chairs, had never seen him before.

If you go straight to Soarin' at rope drop, you'll only wait 10-15 minutes tops, should not be a problem on a crowd level 5 day.

Serveur Amusant is the act in France, you might catch that when you are back there for lunch, definitely worth seeing.

Sergio is the act in Italy, also amusing.

Have you checked out Steve Soares website for live WDW entertainment? Just google and it will come up. Your dates won't be in there yet but the WS acts are pretty regular in terms of which days they perform so it will be a helpful guide for you.

Paul McKenna Band plays on the sidewalk "between" the 2 "sets" of Merchandise Shops in UK,but I "think" their contract ends in October.:)

The Jammitors are are out in the center area of the east FW section on the regular path. The shows at the pavillions are right out in front. China is just outside the gardens at the front, Japan is the same way.

Never seen Paul McKenna, so I can't help there, looks like the PP got it though.

Jammitors are awesome. Their show is in the open area just outside of the breezeway going toward Test Track.

Do you know when in October? We are going the second week and I was planning on seeing the band.

OP you have some long walks in a short period of time between 2 attractions. That might be a problem for you

Sounds like a good plan to me. I've never gone specifically to see entertainment before, except the Eat To The Beat concerts. I've always happened by it.

Turtle Talk is really not worth it without children. Heck, it's barely worth it with children. But that's just my opinion. I definitely would not use a FastPass for it.

Serveur Amusant is actually the one show I always seem to catch when I'm there! Lol. If Soarin' is that short a SB time, that would be awesome. Thanks. :)

I have not checked out Steve Soares, but I will, thanks. :)

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Hope they will still be there.

Thanks, having TT as a landmark will help.

Thanks, I tried to be aware of walking times and add them in. Any specific ones you can point out that you believe are problematic? Thank you. :)

It will probably be something I bypass if I am running behind or stumble upon something better to do. But since there is nothing else to get a FP for... :confused3
We did it for the first time in 2013 and skipped it last year. It was better than Journey Into Imagination. Lol. I thought seeing some of the little kids reactions was cute, and I'm really not a kid person. Thanks. :)

I think mid day day 2 is very rushed. YOu have Les Halles lunch at 11:20 and Paul McKenna at 12:30. Getting your food and eating can take more than 30 - 45 minutes and then it is probably at least a 12 - 15 minute walk to the UK.
The Paul McKenna band show is 20 minutes I think and it is a LONG walk from the UK to Ellen's Energy adventure.
This show is at 1:15 and it is a 45 minute experience. I don't see how you can be out to Jamminators by 2
Good Luck

Just wanted to comment on your question re: Soarin at rope drop. We were able to ride Soarin twice before 9:30 with little to no wait. As long as you arrive at the gates by 8:30am you should be able to do the same. Epcot usually lets guests in around 8:50 as opposed to right at 9, too.

Thanks. It would be really great if the wait time was that low on the morning I go. :D

I also read yesterday that the FP+ just guarantees you seats into the next show - no special seating up front or anything
