My poor little cat "Fraggle" got into a fight last night, well actually 3am this morning! And he has split his paw open. We have bathed him in antiseptic and left him in the spare room with some special food as a treat.

He is looking very sorry for him self at the moment, I have just popped home at lunch time to check on him and he just lay there:( looking at me as if to say " Oh mom look at me"

I think he will be ok. He is going to get extra special care for the next few days and lots of hugs :grouphug:

Poor little thing. I wish him better. Thankfully our cat doesn't go out much so doesn't get a chance to get into fights. Every year we go to the vet for her booster jab the vet refers to as "the agoraphobic one"!

Oh poor thing. Hope he is feeling better soon.

 Oh, poor Fraggle (is that from Fraggle Rock . . . I remember that programme:D ).

We have three cats - just keep an eye on his paw in case it becomes infected, as unfortunately is often the case when they've been in scraps. But cats are amazing at healing themselves, so lots of TLC and chicken for him.

Awwww poor ickle puddy cat.

Take good care of Fraggle and keep us posted or I'll be worrying.

I really need a cat or a dog actually I'd like both but we'r elooking to move next year to what is supposed to be our "for life home" so I'm trying desperately hard to be patient and wait until then.

thanks everyone, he seems to be feeling better today, he has started purring again.

Although he is still hopping around on 3 legs. I think taking him to the vet would only upset him further so MIL is coming round today to have a look at him, (she volunteers for Petsearch and see's this kind of thing all the time , plus she will know how to handle him).

I let him sleep on the end of our bed last night and he was very impressed with that!
