I don't shop online very often, so my points almost exclusively come from surveys and emails.
I did get an awesome kickback before Christmas from Ebates, though!
I did a lot of buying from Kohls and netted an Ebates check for $180!!!
That was really nice, because I got huge deals on everything I bought, plus free shipping, plus $10 KC for every $50 I spent!

Ok, I'm confused. I thought Ebates were rewarded for *online* purchases? Or maybe not?

I rarely shop through MP anymore. Their pts/$ payback is kind of on the low side. I can do better at ebates or by shopping through Chase's Ultimate Rewards, and I get cash back from those websites instead of GCs.

I'm still getting a decent number of click-thru emails (3 so far today and it's only 7 AM). Plus, I at least attempt the surveys in order to grab another 10 points. No surveys yet today and none yesterday. But I had 7 on Tuesday. Don't forget to visit the mypoints.com homepage. There's usually a couple of short, 1-answer surveys that are good for 5 pts. each.

Sorry to be confusing.
I do not do much online shopping; very rarely, in fact.

But before Christmas, between Ebates running 6% CB for Kohls and the sales Kohls was running, I did make some online purchases through them.
So I received that lovely check from Ebates.

The key to surveys is to get "kicked out" during the preliminary questions. That way you pick up 10 points in 30 seconds, instead of sending 30 minutes to get 50 points.

But how exactly do you do that? If you give 'bogus' info to get kicked out, won't that keep you from further surveys? (Which defeats the purpose!?)

I cash out as soon as I reach the points needed for a gift card I want; I don't like to leave a ton of my earnings sitting with any rewards site. But that is me,
