i hear it again , my parents are fighting. screaming at each other. their banging things around and yelling out every curse word i know. i am very scared that they are going to get a divorce. they fight all the time

i don't want them to split. i really really want them to stay together for as long as they live

gosh, when will they ever stop, when will our house be peacefull

awww i know hoe u feel. i just try to stayout of it and when they fight i put on my ipod so that i dont hear it

It's okay dear. Just try to tune it out. And if they DO get divorced it's for the better. trust me. Would you rather have them be miserable or away from each other and freed. Don't worry. It will all turn out well in the end. Trust me. After six years of my parents being divorced you get used to it. But it only took me like a few months to get into the groove of things. Just remember. Fate has a plan for you.

Dont worry.
I know everyone is saying stay out of it, but I think that if your really upset go and cry right in front of them and show them how you feel. Maybe they'll realize that what there doing is upsetting you. Maybe. I dont know.

I'm not sure on what to say. I've had alot of friends' parents go through fighting and what I used to say is "wait it over" because I thought you know, that they'd get over it. Sometimes it works, but other times you need to argue your point a bit and try to get them to make up.

My parents got into a HUGE fight once. I mean, it ended up with both of them storming off to their cars and leaving me alone with my brothers for half a day, before my dad came back. They never spoke to each other for three months and I was terrified. I loved both of my parents alot and I couldn't stand the thought of them living apart. So for three whole months I argued that they couldn't divorce and how they should stay together not for our sake, but for their own. They rely so much on the other and they'd be lost without each other. Throughout the summer, I was basically keeping my parents' marriage together.

Towards the end of it, my dad walked home with a stack of papers. I flipped out. I grabbed them when he wasn't looking and read the top of it. Immediately, I took it downstairs and shredded it. =] Can you guess what it was? It was a claim for divorce. My dad eventually noticed that it had gone somewhere and asked me where it was. I told him that him that I shredded it and he said that if I gave him the permission to, he would file a divorce. He also then asked me if I wanted him to talk to my mom for the first time in months. Of course I did! So, after an hour or two of them just talking, reminiscing about how they first met, they finally made up. I was just really happy then.

So, what I'm really trying to say is that you should just try to give them your point of view and help them talk it out because it might work out in the end.

I'm sorry.
And Dragonlord, I'm sorry you had to go through that, too.

My parents fight... nothing major, just ends up with my dad walking away mumbling.
It's never serious, and I know they'd never get divorced. But I still don't like it.

I can't speak for you, since I don't know your situation, but I guess try to stay out of it? I'm not really sure. I hope it all gets better.

My parents fight sometimes.
I've learned to live my life with it.
It doesn't bother me anymore.
The yelling is sometimes annoying.
And I just want to scream my head off because it disrupts me, not just them.
But I can't remember anything super duper bad.
There were really bad fights but nothing absolutely horrible major involving divorce or anything I could remember.
The longest they went without talking was about 5 days.
They will always make up.

Everything will be alright.
