My own personal countdown !!!!

Ok, Now that it's after midnight, I can say only 5 more days till Disney.

I am so excited, I keep checking the schedules for the times at the parks (that keep changing ), my adr's , the pet resort ressie for my DDog, the car reservation.

I keep checking the Disboards in case there is something I have missed or overlooked. My DH thinks I have lost my mind since it seems I'm always on the computer.

This trip consists of me, mom and wife, the Disney nut who cries when we see the Disney sign that goes over the road once we get on Disney property.
The mom who gets so excited my Ds struggles to see why after so many trips to the world. I just get so happy you know, Its like once I am on Disney property I can forget the world we just left, with all the pressures of work and day to day problems.

Then there is my DH, dad and husband who goes to Disney with me cause he knows it makes me happy. In reality he keeps asking me if I dont believe there are other places for vacations. ( really ? naw, your just pulling my leg, dont you think I would have realized that a long time ago,) He is such a good sport.

And then there is my DS who is 15 and not really all that excited about going to the world again. (but I know secretly he enjoys going too). I guess he thinks its not cool to be excited about Disney. You know at 15 its all about being cool. When he sees a commercial on TV or I play the vacation planning DVD for the umpteeth time, I see the look in his eyes, the look of the little boy he used to be when he was in such awe of everything. He is a great kid, a good student (and no flames please will miss 3 days of school to go on this trip. I have contacted all of his teachers and they have been terrific).

I want to start packing, to just pack up my car and sit in the garage until its time to go.

Ok, so maybe I will wait another day or two.

So today we go to Wallyworld to pick up a few last minute things for our trip.

You know all those cute little bottles of everything, mouthwash, shaving cream etc.

Trying to keep the spending down so we have more to spend in Disney.

But of course as things would have it, I pull out of Wallyworld and my tire starts making noise. (My DH always thinks its in my head ) and of course tells me it's nothing. But I am sure there is something wrong, so I pull over and he checks my back tire and sure enough I have a nail in it, so I go to Tire Kingdom to have it fixed and the guy tells me I need 4 new tires

I ask him how is that posible? I only have 10,000 miles on them, I tell him just fix the flat and I will have to come back another time for the new tires. Why is it these guys always tell you, you need major work when going in for the littlest thing. Told me he could not guarantee the plug would hold , by now my DH is getting angry because he thinks the guy is trying to upsell me.
Well, 4 days before Disney I dont have an extra $500 for tires.

I just want this fix to last till we leave ( not taking my car to Disney) and then we can deal with it when we get back.

I just hope nothing else happens before we go.
