We had planned to go on our next trip in 2009, but DH and I just can't wait that long so we are thinking about Nov 2007, Shelby will be just over 2 and the new baby will be 11 months ish. We are off to the travel agents when DH gets home from work to get a costing and see about using our Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay.

Are there any special things that I should ask for with Virgin - as we have never booked with them before.

Thanks

Gems

No advice Gem but i hope you get it booked :)

Obsession?? I wouldn't necessarily say that.

DW and I went last Oct, said we were going to leave it until May 07, went in May 06 and have just booked up for a week in two weeks time! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

They're offering free dining for UK guests from Aug 12 to 29 Sept next year so it might be worth going a couple of months early to avail of it. Go here to see more info. :thumbsup2

No advice. Just think that it is great that you are booking something to look forward to (in addition to the new baby, of course) :)

Have fun :)

Sorry that I can't offer any advice, I just wanted to say :cool1: on booking another trip to the World! I can't say anything as far as obsession goes as we're counting down to our second trip of the year. :goodvibes

Didn't manage to get it booked :sad2: we are wanting to use our Tesco vouchers and the people at the First Choice Hypermarket were extremely unhelpful, they wouldn't give us a price on the holiday and told us that we have to book direct with Virgin, eventhough the Deals Book says to book with your local agent. And she wouldn't give us the phone nu,ber of Virgin even though she had just called them, I just thought it would be easier than putting the computer back on etc to get the number.

Anyway we shall probably wait until Monday now and go to the Thomson shop and see what they can do for us, as I think it will be very busy tomorrow. Oh well something to look forward to anyway!!

DebIreland - I have been in August and think that t would be far too hot for the little ones, November is my favourite time of year to go as the weather is just right and the crowds are low too. but thanks for the link anyway!

Gems - I thought you had to book Tesco deals direct with Virgin. Just looked in my deals booklet and under the terms and conditions is says "holidays and hotel bookings are booked direct with the relevant operator and must be chosen from the brochures shown". Let me know how you get on, must admit I would rather go to the TA than sort something this important over the phone, but if those are the conditions then that's what I'll have to do.

That was what I said to DH, I want to make sure that I have done everything right, it would be awful if something went wrong just cos it's an internet / phone booking. I think I might post a question on the trip planning board just to see if anyone else has used deals vouchers yet.

I will let you know how I get on.
