My Nick Hotel Review. Warning-- LONG!!!!!

That's what I'm planning - two days at the hotel, just lounging around, enjoying the pool, and the different activities. My DD is going to be so surprised when we get there!!! Can't wait!!!

Someone asked about the discount for next time visiting hotel. When I got home and checked my email the next day I had an email from the hotel saying thank you for visiting. It also had info. about next visit being 25% off with limits like check in sun-thurs., etc. I haven't called to get the details. The same info was also on some paperwork we got when we checked in. Maybe you can call them and they can pull up your stay and give you a discount. Thanks

We're actually staying at ASMo is Oct. My kids are 2 and 4 and would love the Nick, but I think they might still be a little young to get a lot out of it. But after reading this, I'm wondering if I could just do a character meal there or are they for hotel guests only??? Do you need to make reservations far in advance??

Thanks for the informative report. We've decided to stay on Disney property for our upcoming vacation but am considering a trip to Nick Hotel for our next vacation. Much has been said about the food at Nick being expensive. Can anyone say what a typical adult dinner included and cost? Thanks!

We went to the 'sit down' restaurant 4 or 5 of the nights we were there. The 'menu' items ranged from about $12 - $25 depending on what you wanted (obviously steak would be much more, chicken less). It seemed to us that the best option was to do the buffet. It had really good food, and a nice variety. For two adult buffets (and two 'free' kids) with soft drinks the bill came to about $42 after tax but before gratuity. Counter service meals were cheaper (A&W Rootbeer stand and some other counter service), but I don't know exactly how much cheaper.
