My new truck!!!

Ok, yesterday, get that.... yesterday, I pick up my BRAND NEW 4RUNNER!!! Today, now get that.... today, I get out of my truck after work and as I'm walking towards the rear of the truck I notice a DIME SIZED CHIP IN THE PAINT!!!! near the tail light!!!

I have no idea how this happened, and I am so #%&*ing PO'd I could scream!

Geesh.. it's only been 24 Hours!

Sorry... I just needed to vent!

I've had two new vehicles in my life.

Both have been hit in hit and run accidents. The first was two weeks after I got the car and the second, I had it one day.

Did you do a 'walk around' with your salesperson? it very well could have happened during delivery or while sitting on the lot.

I'd run right back to the dealers ASAP...they very well could get it into the bodyshop to get it touched up to keep you happy!!...

Give em a call.....can't hurt...also- sound so VERY upset when you call your salesperson....explain how you ever so carefully made sure to park far away from the door to make sure nobody would park next to you etc....

Can't hurt- and it very well could have been there yesterday before you bought it.

When I've bought all of my cars- NEVER have I done a walk around and we've had quite a few new cars...I did find a scratch on my suburban back when I bought that, and the dealership made good on it.
