My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Congrats on the new computer!

Loved seeing the pic of Brooklynn in the ball on FB. My first thought was oh no if MeMom was there she would of had a panic attack! lol

Bella is just so cute love her watching Donald. And her little hairbow is too cute. My girls would always pull them out.

I have been doing spring cleaning early. Got my bedroom and bathroom painted. New carpet in the bedroom, so I started cleaning out closets. I am worn out. Time to sit and relax today and catch up on my dising.

By the way, MeMom... I think it was on your thread we were discussing what might become of the various Toontown items. The mousesurplus store on ebay announced it would begin listing some items from Toontown and other Fantasyland items this week. Will be interesting to see what they have!

Happy new computer! It sure does look good on you!:goodvibes

I am attempting to book a cruise for next spring break. Every time I get all the way through it says there is an error.:headache: Then, when I go in again, that category disappears and the price goes up.

I am on hold now. My wait time is 51 minutes. It really shouldn't be this hard to spend thousands of dollars.:sad2:

Congrats on the new computer MeMom!

Going back a little ways, because I somehow missed an update.....I've never seen the show at rope drop at Epcot, it looks really cute and I loved how excited that little boy was :goodvibes I'm totally like you are when I see videos of people whom I don't even know enjoying WDW - I get misty eyed too. Those new commercials that show home video of families surprising their kids with trips really get me!

Brooklynn is such a sweet big sis holding Bella's hand in the character pics.

I adore the que for Nemo, it's so well themed with so much to look at. I almost hate that there is never much of a wait anymore because I don't have time to soak it all in ;)

Hello.
It's me....
MeMom. :wave2:
Thought I should make sure you knew that,
since you might not recognize me

coming

from

a

new computer! :woohoo:

I have added Best Buy to the list of people who own my financial soul.
Luckily, I did get a no interest plan, and I'll have it paid off before the time is up.
I should be good for some intense DISing for a good long while now. :)

Woohoo! Did you get a laptop? New computers are great! I got a new desktop for Christmas, but I'm typing this on my laptop. I  Best Buy, it's one of my favorite stores! :) I almost didn't recognize you!:rotfl2:

I like being in on your Disney surprise fun. :cool1:

If any of us hits it big, like $256 million or something, we should really check into making DIStown a reality. :thumbsup2

I used to watch that faithfully, but after a while, they let perceived 'stardom' go to their heads, it seemed. The kids got mouthy, and the parents got dramatic. I did enjoy it, but I think it was time for it to end. Maybe they'll do better without the cameras around.

I put my one dollar in every Monday and leave it all up to God. ;) If He wants me to win, I have my one little ticket in the pot. I can justify a dollar a week. I do know of a teacher who puts hundreds into it, though, and that is just beyond me. She could have had so much in savings. I'm satisfied with my one that I throw into the group purchase.

It would be so cool to have that ocean stuff in my classroom. One of those video screens where they could answer questions - that they would love!

We will see how Bella does with characters in five weeks! :dance3:
Five weeks from today, we'll be in Hollywood Studios.

Does it make me look thinner? :)

We rode this last Sun on my b'day trip!!! It was better than I had remembered! It had been several years since we rode it and Michael said he wanted to ride it so we did!!
As usual, I'm way behind! I can never stay caught up for some reason! I was just about caught up and then we got those 3 snow days last week and I think you were off all week....I'm going to try to go back and get caught up!
Was this Dis down last night? I couldn't get on it.

"He did not take naps when he was little!"

so adorable. i remember when my baby sister (now 14 and not so little) used to say things like that!

once, when she was 3 or 4 we (there are six of us girls!) :dance3::dance3: were talking about how we used to hold her and carry her around when she was a baby and she looked at me and said "remember when i held you when you were a baby?" :rotfl:

How awesome! A new computer!
I know that we would be so lost without ours....
So what did you get?
I'd like you to be a little more specific.

Yay for a new computer that make you look thinner! Where can I get one of those?!

And double YAY for being in DHS in 5 weeks!!! :dance3:

Finally here to catch up. Quick update on my Dad. He is in rehab and doing well. He is motivated to get better so he can go home. Thanks once again for all the prayers.
I am so glad to hear Carter is doing well. It is amazing what medicine is able to do know. It cracked me up when I read the comments about doctors being amazing. I am sure his doctors did not miss a beat. I actually get embarrassed when my patients thank me. I feel like I would not be doing my job if I did not help them. It is a different perspective. I am sure his doctors were very happy about the success of his procedure and did amazing work, but probably did not grasp how life changing their work was to the family. I think most doctors feel the same way I do.
I am so glad that you are five weeks away!! I am around 6 weeks now. Can't wait!!

Yay for the new computer! You look marvelous ;)

We are getting more snow here -- can you believe it? Nothing has melted from the foot and a half we got a couple weeks ago, and they are looking at another nor'easter on Wednesday, which could mean another 10-15 inches. I like the snow but this is getting a little ridiculous even for me. There's just nowhere to put it! :rotfl:

She actually said nothing about him this time. This is the third time we have had this particular CM at Character Connection. Twice with Mickey and once with Minnie. I have to say when we were standing in line last summer and he was the handler for Mickey I got really nervous as we got closer to the front. Brooklynn interacts with lots of different people on a daily basis - different races, sizes, genders, and disabilities. One of the things I love about the school I work at is we have therapists on staff so that children with autism, down syndrome or other disabilities can be included in the classroom with typical children. When Brooklynn was 16 months old she had a little boy in her class with Down syndrome and she was the child in class that helped him. She never shied away from him because he couldn't walk or talk and he licked her all the time. She would patiently get his chair at the table and guide him to it or help him reach a book that was too high for him. However, she has never been around a little person so I was very nervous of what she might blurt out at almost 4 years old. I'm sure he has heard lots of different comments, but I didn't want my kid to be one of them. She said nothing as we passed by him and as we continued through Character Connection she just kept going. I thought she just really didn't notice until we walked back outside. She looked at me and asked "Was that a grown up?" I told her yes, he was and she said "He did not take naps when he was little!" I had to laugh because it has been a longstanding story with Carter and Presley's mommy that Brooklynn is giant because she sleeps at nap time. She has told her kids on numerous occasions that when you sleep you grow and when you stay awake you shrink. That is why Brooklynn is so much taller than they are because she takes a nap at school. So in my daughter's mind he didn't take naps and that caused him to shrink to her size.

In October she said nothing about it at all. He talked to her about Lola the cow and where she lived and then it was time to go see Mickey!

I was afraid of the same thing with Hollie. Chad spotted him as we were getting closer and he just gave me the look. I started praying that Hollie would not say anything. Like Brooklynn, she has seen so many different types of folks. But, the one time she has made a comment about anything was while I was watching Little People Big World one time. She wanted to know why some of their kids were taller than the parents. I just tried to explain to her the best I could that people are different but God loves all of us because we are so different. She was alright with that! Then she told me if she ever saw anyone like that she would give them a big hug!! So, I was just hoping she wouldn't notice but she never did! They stopped the line at us so we were right beside him a good while. He was cutting up with her and she was cutting up right back with him.

Why yes, yes it does.

You look maaaaarvaaaaalous.

Thank you, daaaaaaahling!

I have been doing spring cleaning early. Got my bedroom and bathroom painted. New carpet in the bedroom, so I started cleaning out closets. I am worn out. Time to sit and relax today and catch up on my dising.

I would have had to go walking around while she did it. There is a video yet to come, but I'm not sure I can watch it. I really will have trouble falling asleep if I am thinking about it.

Sometimes Bella pulls bows out, and sometimes she insists on having one in. She's a silly girl! :cutie:

Man, I would love to have new carpet. I know you must be proud of that! I bought one of those big area rugs to put on top of my old carpet for now. Really what I want to do is just have all laminate flooring put in the hall and bedrooms. It's so much easier to clean, and with all of Drew's allergies, the girls' spills, and cat hair, it would just be nicer all around. That's on my list of things to do with one of my income tax refunds one of these years.

It will be interesting to see what they sell. Do they have pictures, descriptions, and prices, sort of like ebay? I'm not interested in buying,of course, but it would be fun to look.

I saw that you needed a house sitter. I would come and do it for some Disney money! Too bad we don't both live in DIStown. ;)

I youtube Disney surprise occasionally and just watch kids (and grown-ups) jump for joy and squeal. I smile like I have some investment in it.

It's true, you just have to stop and let people walk on by to take pictures in Nemo. Usually we walk right up to the clamshells with no wait.

I did a lot of DISing on my snow days. I am spoiled to these short weeks now!

How awesome! A new computer!

So what did you get?
I'd like you to be a little more specific.

Trent was on the phone with me while I was looking. I got an HP something. It has a webcam, so if we get a good room at Pop, we can set it up for people to see. Maybe we'll be facing a pool or someplace where there is activity. It won't be as good as Poly, but it will be something.

Yay for a new computer that make you look thinner! Where can I get one of those?!

And double YAY for being in DHS in 5 weeks!!!

Five weeks from right now, Fantasmic will be over, Hollywood Studios day will be over, and we'll be crashing to get ready for Monday and Animal Kingdom day. :woohoo:

I'll let you in on a secret ---- I really don't look any better at all. ;)

Finally here to catch up. Quick update on my Dad. He is in rehab and doing well. He is motivated to get better so he can go home. Thanks once again for all the prayers.

I have been very appreciative of the good doctors who have taken care of my precious treasures in the years past. When doctors come in and give a family details, especially in a situation like we had with Trent, it is such a comfort. We, the unknowing, are just sitting around grasping for any bits of information we can get. Overhearing and/or reading something into what a nurse says when he/she comes in is all we have to go on until a kind and very knowledgeable doctor comes in and lays it on the table for us.

It's less than five weeks before we leave, so we're chugging right along!

Yay for the new computer! You look marvelous

Believe me, we have all seen your place on the news a lot lately, and we are sending our best wished for it to be over soon. Just what little we have gotten is getting old, so I can't even imagine how you guys are coping. They are saying maybe a half inch for us tonight and then more on Tuesday - maybe two inches, and then maybe a dusting on Thursday. It's all iffy as of now, though. We'll be making up quite a few school days.

That is so Hollie! ::yes::

Congrats on the new puter!!!

Here are 5 :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: for 5 weeks.

Crossing my fingers you win the lottery!

Your "HP something looks" looks FANTASTIC on you!! I'm glad that you are still writing your last TR and hope that it will continue until your next trip. (or at least close)
