Quick answer... they had disney dollars at fronts desks in December. My mother in law was able to get me some to send on a trip with Hannah's best friend.... little ones love those way more than Disney Dollars!

Good to know. I thought you could get them at Guest Relations at DTD and the parks, but wasn't for sure. The money is cuter for kids than the cards, but cards are easier to carry around, I guess. We're such a card oriented society.

I tried to book a room from Christmas Eve into the New Year but the deal is only good for stays up to Dec.24.

We'll be paying premium prices on the holidays, because they know people will pay it.

I went by our TJ Maxx to see if they had a Fairies suitcase, but they only had a small Cars one. It looked a lot smaller than the one Wigd showed a picture of.

Continuing our time in Downtown Disney.

Here is where our second bout of thievery comes in, I believe.

We went to fill up a box of Potato Head parts for my classroom.

Bella was holding a Potato with some random parts stuck in it. Nothing major - just like glasses, one arm, and I think some blue feet.

After Jill did her marvelous packing job, we paid and left, headed toward the bus stop.

We were going over to Pop Century to swim in the kiddie pool, as Trent had gotten a room there.

We were almost to the Pop bus stop when

what to my wondering eyes should appear

but Bella still holding the Potato,

oh, dear!

We did it again!!!

I told Jill right then I was not allowed in any more stores. I had not thought a thing about what she was still holding. It was probably hiding under her little Mickey blanket when we left, or it could have been in plain sight. I truly do not know.

I am going to admit to you that this time, I did not go all the way back to the store. I just pretended that our box expanded enough to get those feet, glasses, and arm in. The Potato itself, I never could have fit in there in a million years. In the future, I will pack a box less full to make up for it and justify my granddaughter's dastardly deed.

Here we are at Pop.

Food was consumed first.

Then we went our for an evening splash in the kiddie pool.

As I am snuggled under two blankets right now, this makes me think of warmer days in the past and yet to come.

I am sure she will want a great many things. She is really good about putting something back if we say she can't have it so i am hoping that it will be the same at WDW. I am planning on telling her next Tuesday so that will give her a week to get all excited about it. I think she may suspect that we are going because the other day she said something about not being there yet. My dh has slipped a few times in front of her but she has never said anything so I don't know if it all clicked or not. I guess I will find out when we reveal it to her and she says she already knew.

She has her suspicions, huh?

Oh that is too funny about Bella with the potato head! I completely understand though - remember Henry taking the "Juan" card from the Star Tours shop during one of our previous trips??? We happened to notice it right away, but if we hadn't - we probably would have made the same move as you. Next time I was in the shop I would have made them charge me for one or something. They already thought I was crazy when I ran in a few minutes later and handed the CM the card stating, "My 1 year old stole this! I'm sorry!"

I really like that Mickey chef hat and those Dumbo ears....I'm planning on packing a box again this trip. I love all those cute pieces.

I had to google risograph Sounds interesting!! The teachers at my school are so spoiled at having someone run all their copies for them! We have a girl that does copying 4-6 hours a day. The other day I was in there and one grade level had her copying a piece of paper that had the numbers 1 - 10 written on it, and a place for a date on the top of the page. Really? What ever happened to "class, take out a piece of paper and number from 1-10" when you're going to give a spelling test?! No wonder we always run out of money for supplies!

Ah those pictures of swimming sure make me want to be someplace warm. We got another 6 inches yesterday & then some freezing rain & then just rain. Today we are getting rain/sleet & they are saying another 6 inches for Friday!!

i tried on a hoodie once. I almost left the store with it. My daughter stopped me i believe. it was at the end of the night, after fireworks, in a very busy store.......it started with me looking to see it in a mirror.....

Just popping in to say hi! I'm out for a snow, well really ice day. When DH called to say how bad the roads were, I'm glad I didn't have to make the 25 min. trek to school. I would have been a nervous wreck.

Update on grandma: They were able to get her blood pressure stable, and they are moving her into a rehab for a week or 2 so she can get stronger. Then she hopes to come home. We'll see...

I'm not sure how we made it before risographs. I can make 140 copies of something for the grade level in a minute.

You'd think 'Number your paper 1-10' would be easy, but for some, it's advanced course stuff. Sometimes I feel like I am on a hidden camera show when I say "Page 334" ten times and a student is asking what page we're on when I'm already on problem 4. So many of our kids just do not think. They don't listen. They don't comprehend. They're out in LaLa Land, wherever that is.

Glad Grandma is a little better. The older we get, the more things go wrong with us. It's just the way it is. It's nice to have family and friends to help us through the rough spots.
