My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

If we had two weeks, we could easily do several no-park days. Don't worry about it a bit. Between DTD and all the resorts, as well as just enjoying your own resort and pool, you will be glad you have some days to have no agenda. Sleep late, maybe have one of your big meals at one of the resorts or whatever - sounds very good to me. ::yes:: These might be days you could do a campfire at Fort Wilderness or a movie on the Beach Club beach or go to the Boardwalk or do mini-golf or try out a waterpark or watch Wishes from the Polynesian or... oh well, you'll surely find something to do, as hard as that might be. ;)

Don't we all have that list of non park things to do? :lmao: Now what I have to learn is to slow down enought of stay out of the park and do those things for the whole day instead of fitting them between park visits.

I am sure that we will find something to do. I really want to take Lexi over to Tri Circle D Ranch at least once. She loves all animals and I know she will love to see the horses. Mini golf sounds fun too.

MeMom I saw on facebook that today is the 50 day mark That means 47 days for me!

I only have one more week of this semester before exams(which I only have two of this time ) and then once the grades are put in, my college applications go out I'm done with them except for the essay. I'm almost done with that too, I just need to edit it and re-word some parts. I'm so glad I'm getting the applications out of the way before we go to Disney so it won't be hanging over my head! The final draft of the senior project paper is due a couple weeks before that, so that'll be out of the way too

I knew this year would fly by. Next year - a new adventure! :cool1:

I thought the snow was pretty too. We got around 2 inches, but it melted today. We are expecting another round tomorrow morning into Saturday and supposedly a stronger system Sun/Mon. The schools around here are going crazy since we have already missed so many days. We have so many back roads that do not see the light of day. Snow and ice stick around and makes driving hazardous.
for 50 days. I will have to actually count my days. I think it is around 65 days. I am getting more and more excited especially about doing a more laid back vacation this time and I am looking forward to having our own car.

Seven weeks from tomorrow we will be taking off! :dance3:

We suposedly have another snow on the way Monday, I think it is.

We just need more time, don't we?
Lots more Disney time. :thumbsup2

She'll love Tri Circle D. She can see the ponies running around out in the small corrals and go inside the barn to see the big horses. I'm not a horse person, but even to me it was cool.

I've never done either of the golf courses yet, but I don't think it will be much longer before we get to try one. I think Brooklynn would enjoy it now.

It was Animal Kingdom day. This was the one day Trent was going to be able to have off completely to spend with us.

I feel sure I had pictures before the safari, but these are the first ones that are appearing as I pull them up. I'm a little confusalated. :upsidedow

We were excited to see a baby mandrill!

We also got both lions up, and the male was roaring! :woohoo:

Fuzzy Jill taking pictures.

She will have better safari pictures for you. She always gets better safari pictures than I do. I really didn't take many just for that reason, but I may have some video.

Our awesome safari driver (who did stop--shhh!). I think his name was Jason, but Jill will remember and add to this morning, hopefully tonight or tomorrow, since it is the weekend.

Gotta get moving. Happy last day of the work week!

Not the cutest critters on the safari but how cool to catch a glimpse of the baby!

SSRStayOct2010210.jpg

Awesome!!!!

:grouphug: My prayers go out to the family who is hurting right now. So very sad. :grouphug:

So much to catch up on.....

I would love those new Disney dishes at Target but, there are no trips planned there in my near future. :sad2:

:thumbsup2 for getting your ADR at O'Hana. You should love it!
It's our must do on every trip....ohhh you must leave room for the glorious dessert.

Brooklynn was being such a good friend while having to put up with being called "Broccoli". ;)
It must have been fun for the girls to have someone new to play with.

I was hoping for 40th Anniversary merchandise. I'll be bringing home some in September. :woohoo:

Memom do you know your fall dates yet?
I'm looking to be there after the cruise Sept 25 - Oct 3.

Awesome!!!!

Always fun to see a baby. :)

I'll have to wait until I get home to see the second picture to figure out what was awesome. :goodvibes

Awesome safari pictures! It's always exciting when all of the animals are out and about to see!

We've found that early safaris or the last ones of the day are the best.

I'm looking to be there after the cruise Sept 25 - Oct 3.

I booked us this morning for September 29th - October 3rd. We will arrive on the latest Thursday evening flight and come back on an evening flight on Monday. The only for sure about what we'll be doing is that we'll be in Magic Kingdom on the 1st. I wish it had worked out for us to be there through Jill's birthday on the 5th, but neither of us could take that much time off during the week.

I love, love, love the Animal Kingdom. I could spend every day of my vacation there. Great pictures of the animals. The baby Mandril is cute. Out of all of our trips, we have only seen the lions up one time.

:yay::yay::yay: Yippee!!! we will have a special DIS meet!!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Are you staying at POP? .... probably a silly question, huh? :rotfl:

You made my day a lot brighter!

It's snowing here and I have to go into work this evening. Now I will have a smile all night. :goodvibes

I'm hoping they offer Free Dining again.

If not we are still going one way or another!

I'm looking at a one night stay before the cruise. Either we fly and we stay in WDW and take the cruise bus over.
Or I drive down and we stay near Port Canaveral.

Lexi wants to take the DCL bus but .... it's $210 round trip for the three of us... :confused3

I love the safari pictures. I have never, ever seen the lion up. Hoping for this next trip.

Hope you don't mind, I have a little time, so thought I would put up a few pictures of Abby and Ellie at Christmas (just a few weeks late - hahaha).

I like your little mystery figures. They are very cute. I think I would like to PURCHASE ;) some of those myself. Of course, I don't know of anything I see in your pictures that I would not like to have.

Jill and I love Animal Kingdom, too, and I think it is growing on Trent. I don't understand people who think of it as a 'half day park at best', but good for them, I guess, because that means they are somewhere else and not in front of us in an AK line. ;)

Awesome safari pcitures!

Jill will have better ones, I promise.

Pop it is for us in October. Now if I can just get enough to book our Christmas trip, my year ahead will be all taken care of. It made me smile pretty big this morning when I was talking to the very nice CM on the phone to book the October dates. She noted that we sure do come to Disney World a lot.

I didn't think about it costing money to go to the cruise. Never having done one, I just thought it was a perk if you went from resort to cruise. If I win the lottery bewteen now and then, I'll give you the $210 to let Lexi ride the DCL bus. ;)

I will have to see the pictures when I get home. Jill said she's just going to have to send you the money to mail that pillow, she guesses, since you guys keep missing opportunities to hook up in Cool Springs.

Trying to be funny, are we???

If I had unlimited funds, there is no telling what all I could buy in Disney World. It would be sinful, I'm sure. :upsidedow

How awesome that you got to see the lions up and moving AND roaring! I've never seen them doing anything but sleeping, guess I gotta keep going back :thumbsup2

Just got home to see the pictures.
Purely precious. :)

I'm going to borrow this word, ok? I love it.

Great AK safari photos!

Yay for booking your fall trip! We're shooting for mid-late October so I am bummed I will miss you though.

You may borrow it. I just make up whatever comes to mind.

We would be going in mid-October for fall break, but we thought it would be cool to be there for the 40th birthday of Magic Kingdom, so we bumped it back a bit.

Are you flying or driving? You could always stop here in Music City. :thumbsup2

A baby mandrill and a lion roaring? So cool! One day I hope to see the lions that active. LOL!

Yep. We were pleased. Of course, it has ruined the safari for Tanya, because she'll think they should all be as good. She had never been to Animal Kingdom before that day. What made it even funnier was that the mama mandrill waved at us! :rotfl:

Yes, keep going back until you catch them. That's a perfectly good reason to book new trips. :goodvibes

Does everyone have their snow day supplies?
They are saying a possible four inches here, and Jill said her weatherman is really expecting crazy things, because he said NINE!

Weatherman are predicting a couple of inches again here but saying it could be anywhere from 2-4 or more or less. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

We are always on the line of getting snow or rain so we often get predictions like that.

Right now we have rain.
I just wish for enough to shut down thing without a doubt. Usually we get a mess where some things shut down but we never do.

I had those packages of small figures in my hand in th Judges tent. I ended up putting them back. Yes I am sure I out them back but I think the next time I will buy some.

Wow MeMom you were lucky to see the Lions up & moving!! They are always sleeping every time we go & we go early morning also.

We usually spend a whole day at AK also. Just walking the trails, FOTLK, EE, Safari, lunch, more rides, more animals, etc. etc. (oh yeah the parade). I love seeing the animals.

We are expecting 2-4 inches of snow but right on the line of 1-3 so who knows. Need to travel about 45 min. south for soccer tomorrow morning so hopefully not too much.

:yay::yay: for booking your Fall trip. I am glad you & Jill & girls get to go in the Fall.

Have a wonderful weekend MeMom.

I like those little figures because they are small, cute, and cheap, considering I can get three Disney 'memories' in one pack. I think they had people like me in mind when they created them. :thumbsup2
If this were true then the packages would of been much bigger so people like you can't walk out with them.:lmao:
I was beginning to think the lion was just for decorations. It's always taking a cat nap when I ride.
I'm sure you enjoyed your Trent time on this day.
