My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

I will be back with safari pictures either later tonight or tomorrow morning. I also have to hit up the grocery store, since we are running low on everything except bread and milk we should be good. The weather man down here is saying 7 to 9 inches and that he will bet his career on the fact we get out of school on Monday. I could really use a 3 day weekend!

Stay safe this weekend, everyone!! And buy some fun treats with that bread & milk. :) Might as well make it a fun at home weekend!! :)

Hey MeMom haven't had much time to post lately. We have been busy moving Sarah into her new place. I know she was glad to move into the next phase of her life. She is a RN working in Labor and Delivery and she loves it.
Samantha and Ty are still living here and he keeps us all hopping. I saw on FB where Bella got a big girl bed. Well Ty got one too. But, I also still have his crib up so he will take a nap. lol Nonnie needs nap time to catch her breath.lol

Great AK pics MeMom. Congrats on your October plans. I would love to go again in October. But, since I'll only be able to swing one trip to the World this year I am planning on the NY EVE trip.

I had Ty outside today and it was in the 50's felt like fall. He had a great time playing in the leaves. But, it looks like Sunday night we too will have a chance of some snow. He'll have a great time in the snow too I guess. Only in the South can it be t-shirt and shorts one day and hats and gloves the next. lol

Have a great weekend!

Everyone getting snow stay safe and warm! This from the floridian. It was FREEZING down here n SoFla tonight at 64. I am now embarrased to say I put the heat on.

I booked today for our quick getaway feb25-27 and for me andthe kids to go for 5 nights/6days in August. AH-Mazing rates. Yea!!! POP here we come.

For all of you going in Feb. I already asked Memom if she wanted them but she passed so I hope I can help someone out. We originally planned a much longer trip so at 180 days I made Le cellier and chef mickey for almost ever day. Now the trip is shorter and I have not cancelled yet so if any of you would you be interested in being the daisylove party of 4 for a le cellier or chef mickey on one or more days of your trip.
i have the following:
sun 27 - le cellier for luch, dinner and CM for dinner
mon 28 - le cellier lunch dinner, CM breakfast and dinner
tues 1 - CM breakfast dinner, le cellier - lunch
Let me know :0)
PMing me would probably work best and i will give you the confirmation # info. Otherwise I will cancel them out sometime next week.

I booked us this morning for September 29th - October 3rd. We will arrive on the latest Thursday evening flight and come back on an evening flight on Monday. The only for sure about what we'll be doing is that we'll be in Magic Kingdom on the 1st. I wish it had worked out for us to be there through Jill's birthday on the 5th, but neither of us could take that much time off during the week.[/QUOTE]

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Whooooo Hoooo, I am soooo excited!!! We will FINALLY be there at the same time!!! There are MANY Diser's going during that time-we will have to plan a MEGA meet. YAY

I just got a pin code and it is good for those dates. Looks like I will be booking soon!!:banana::banana::banana:

So sad to hear about what the Deegan family is facing. Sending more prayers their way!

Now to all the updates I have missed... Ooohh, a basketball goal, I am positive the girls had big fun with that. Noah has one and he and Chloe use any ball they have to shoot hoops.

I enjoyed seeing the MK all decorated for fall (again). I am so severely neglecting my tr, it is so much easier to read others.:goodvibes

All the holiday pictures make me smile. You can see how much fun you all had. I know you must have felt very blessed this holiday season (well, except for the heater ordeal:sad2:).

Happy Saturday!!!

MeMom, stay warm and safe this weekend!

Jill, nine inches??? That's craziness! Our weatherman is predicting about five to six inches, but really, I will believe that when I see it! I will be heading to the grocery store to do the shopping this morning -- I think we may need to make some cookies tomorrow.

I really don't want any snow days -- we already had the one for ice right before the Christmas break, and there is only a week between when the kids get out and we head to Disney -- we don't have much cushion to make up days. :sad2:

Good Saturday morning!! I have not even looked at the weather in our area for Monday. Our weather station is notorious for getting things wrong. I know it is hard, but they told everyone in our area 100% chance of snow in Knoxville yesterday. Well, schools went crazy and cancelled. Guess what? Only rain. So, I will believe it when I see it Monday.
:banana:for booking for October! That is the week we are looking at right now. The last week of September is the UT Vols off week for football. We are looking at staying at the Beach Club Villas. It would be great to get together and let the kids play at SAB. I will let you know when I find out more.

Weatherman are predicting a couple of inches again here but saying it could be anywhere from 2-4 or more or less.

We are always on the line of getting snow or rain so we often get predictions like that.

Right now we have rain.
I just wish for enough to shut down thing without a doubt. Usually we get a mess where some things shut down but we never do.

I had those packages of small figures in my hand in th Judges tent. I ended up putting them back. Yes I am sure I out them back but I think the next time I will buy some.

We seem to be on some sort of weather line, as well. We often get nothing when others do. We have about an inch right now.

If you buy some of those figures, you'll have to show us what you get. :thumbsup2

Wow MeMom you were lucky to see the Lions up & moving!! They are always sleeping every time we go & we go early morning also.

We usually spend a whole day at AK also. Just walking the trails, FOTLK, EE, Safari, lunch, more rides, more animals, etc. etc. (oh yeah the parade). I love seeing the animals.

We are expecting 2-4 inches of snow but right on the line of 1-3 so who knows. Need to travel about 45 min. south for soccer tomorrow morning so hopefully not too much.

:yay::yay: for booking your Fall trip. I am glad you & Jill & girls get to go in the Fall.

Have a wonderful weekend MeMom.

We love our girl trips. They're so fun - we laugh a lot and have no drama. We just go with the flow.

I could spend a half of a day just on the AK trails!

If this were true then the packages would of been much bigger so people like you can't walk out with them.
I was beginning to think the lion was just for decorations. It's always taking a cat nap when I ride.
I'm sure you enjoyed your Trent time on this day.

Maybe they should put alarms on them? :rolleyes1

I hope there is some video of the lion roaring.

We did enjoy our Trent time. He's ready for us to be there again in 7 weeks.

I hope you get one. :goodvibes
It looks like things are going to be worse a little more south of us.

Stay safe this weekend, everyone!! And buy some fun treats with that bread & milk. Might as well make it a fun at home weekend!!

I had a delicious bowl of oatmeal and some applewood smoked bacon. I am on the phone with Jill, and I have been youtubing Disney videos. Life is good!

We are sure looking forward to the NYE bash! :dance3:

We have snow right now, but I think it's going to stop for a while now. It's not supposed to pick back up until tomorrow night.

I will be a happy camper when we have 64 again. I'll be good if it can just stay mostly in the high 30's and 40's for the next couple of months so that the heating bill is not so high.

Whooooo Hoooo, I am soooo excited!!! We will FINALLY be there at the same time!!! There are MANY Diser's going during that time-we will have to plan a MEGA meet. YAY

That makes the trip even more fun to look forward to. We'll have to plan a couple of rides for the girls to do together. Brooklynn loves to meet new DIS friends.

I just got a pin code and it is good for those dates. Looks like I will be booking soon!!

We didn't get a pin code, but we'll keep checking. We used the YW3 code, I believe it was.

We did have a very blessed holiday.

The good things is - heat is doing fine now.
The bad thing is - I have to make the first payment on it in two weeks. :upsidedow

It easier to read other reports, because to write them takes time, but I do love being there again when I see our pictures. :)

Since we just had a break and are going to have a four day week ext week because of MLK, I'd like to save my snow day. I don't get to control that, unfortunately.

I am glad I have a reliable heating system now. It feels good not to be worrying about it.

It really does feel good to have that October one on the books. I like going for Jill's birthday, even if it is just for a short trip.

Just let us know! :)

Just posted the news over on my thread. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Can't have that pin code burning a hole in my inbox.

Congratulations EVERYONE that has or is booking for the 40th anniversary!!! Marc told me that I could go too, but I said no fall trip and I'm standing by that!
He told me that he would stay through NYE! So we are on for fireworks on the Poly Beach!!!
I'm pumped about that!!!

We are crossing our fingers that we can book a Grand Villa over at OKW for our Christmas trip!:worship:

Anita you are showing a lot of restraint. Are you crazy?

Grand Villa sounds awfully nice... how long will that 2011 Christmas trip be?

We will fly down Christmas morning early and the kids will fly home on Friday. Not sure what Baylor will decide to do, return home with the big kids or stay for NYE....
His choice.
Marc and I will return home on the 1st.
I'm sure we will be back in school on the 2nd.
Any chance you can come down?

I saw. :cool1:
It feels good to be thinking about a fall trip again. The weather in October has been kind to us, so they've been very pleasant trips.

Yay, Marc! It's going to be funner with both of you! :yay:
Not that you aren't fun, Miss Anita Wigd, but the more the merrier, right? ;)

I think we may be sleeping on the beach. I just looked at the price of Pop rooms for that week,
and this is me now - :scared1:
1.gif

On the 2nd, they drop in half to $85 a night, but from Christmas to the 1st, it is not pretty.
We may have to stay at Trent's house the first few nights and then check in to Pop for just a few nights at the end. I haven't talked to Jill yet to tell her the holiday prices. She can help me decide what to do, but I know I can't pay for two rooms at that price for that many nights.

As long as we are on property for a few nights to be able to do some rope drops and be allowed on Poly beach for the fireworks, we should be good to go. This might be one of those times we check into the DTD suites and see what kind of deals they have. We'll have to be creative. :)

:woohoo::yay::banana:

(Psstt, Wigd, I started a pretrip report when you have time to come over and play.)

There's lots of fun going on over there already. :goodvibes

Anita you are showing a lot of restraint. Are you crazy?

Grand Villa sounds awfully nice... how long will that 2011 Christmas trip be?

Let's give her some more time to look at the 40th anniversary merchandise and hype.
Her restraint may weaken.
Or we may weaken it for her.

We can fill half that beach with Disney dorks!
I mean, people wise in Disney ways. ;)

I think I will have to be sneaky for NYE and book now and tell my DH in december. He is soo not a disney fan and hates crowds so I will be pushing him :0)

Next morning - here's my precious sleeping baby again.

SSRStayOct2010197.jpg

SSRStayOct2010199.jpg

That picture of Bella sleeping is just adorable! I love it when little ones sleep like that. Henry just grew out of his sleeping that way this past summer.

Those little figurines are very cute! I love the Eeyore!

Another update:
The baby was released from the hospital tonight. She initially had brain swelling because the top of the carseat was folded over and pushed down on top of her. However, the swelling has gone down enough to release her and they don't think she will have any long term effects. The Mom is still in ICU but hoping to be moved to a step down unit. She has major trauma to her neck and spine. She is sedated because they want her to have minimun movement because there is still the fear of paralysis. There is another child who was not in the car. He is 8 and has not been told of his brother's passing. The Mom wanted to be able to tell him when she got home but they are not sure when that is going to be, plus they are keeping her sedated. So he will probably be told soon. He is staying with a close family friend.

I saw your updates about all this - my prayers are with them. How horrible.

Does everyone have their snow day supplies?
They are saying a possible four inches here, and Jill said her weatherman is really expecting crazy things, because he said NINE!

NINE INCHES?! Whoa! But how nice to have a 3 day weekend, I hope it works out for you Jill!

I am so itchin' for an October AND December trip! I'll probably just book the rooms - just in case. :rolleyes1 Love the idea of a OKW Grand Villa Wigd! I hope you get it!!

Great safari pics MeMom - how cool that you saw the baby mandrill and the lions up----and roaring!! That is a rare sight. Did the safari driver stop for that? I bet he's never seen it either. :rotfl:

IF we get the Grand Villa let's just see how many we can crown in.....
then when we move out maybe you can get your POP rooms. We will probably go over to POR or something of that nature, we haven't even discussed it. Just depends on points and prices for us too. Honestly, we don't even have a head count for Christmas yet, with Keeley starting school and all.

I hope the lions are up and walking around when we go in 23 days.:banana::banana: Thanks for letting me have a little party on your thread. I would do it here at home but we are trying to keep it a secret from Lexi. So i just party on the inside. :)

Jill I hope you get your 9 inches so you can have your 3 day weekend.

I am really hopping I can squeeze in a NYE trip. We have no family here so it isn't like we would be missing out on family time.
