Everyone will have a GREAT time at Ohana's! It's always such a lively place with such a fun atmosphere
We have seen people with their leis out on the beach on 4th of July night, and this time, those people will be us.

I love the atmosphere of that resort overall.
Ohana's on the 4th of July will be fun before the big fireworks.
Yep, and there is a chance there will be a webcam. I heard Dave say the girls wanted to come back for the 4th, so we'll see.
Ohana's on the fourth for dinner and fireworks will be so fun!!! I am actually surprised you were able to grab something -- I would think it would have booked up almost immediately. Pixie dust for sure!
Oh, and yes, I would very much like a preview of 40th anniversary merchandise in February!
I will take plenty of pictures for you.
I was afraid it would already be booked for the good times, but we got a 6:20, so we're happy.
Oh I agree! That is some serious pixie dust to get Ohanas on July 4?!? SCORE!!!!
You girls had me doubting my reservation, so I went back and checked. I was worried, but it does indeed confirm that we are in.
I'll friend you now on Facebook so that I'll know when the next family gathering will be! Just give me plenty of advance notice so that I will have enough of driving time from Minnesota!
(I'll probably friend you anyway-love keeping up with Jill and the girls through her FB acct!)
Just be sure and tell me your DIS name so I know who you are.
It's not far from Minnesota to Tennessee, right?

Just through the blinding snow and four foot drifts a few hundred miles...
Update on the Deegan Family:
Mom and baby are still in critical but stable condition. Both are in ICU. Mom is awake and was told yesterday about her son. The doctors were against telling her for fear of a setback but her husband decided to go ahead. Our Pastor was by their side when he told her. Hopefully, I will find out more information tonight at church. Thank you so much for your prayers. I know that the LORD hears them and He is there to comfort this family.
What a horrible situation, but it is probably best that she knows now better than later. I will continue to pray for that family. Thank you for the update.
That poor mother - having to deal with this while she is already in such pain. She must just be in shock at this point. God is in control of this, and He has His purpose and plan, although it is very often hard for us to see what it is. This is where complete trust and faith comes in, because there is really no other choice.

After we left Magic Kingdom without eating a Dole Whip, we met Trent, Tanya, and her niece, Janessa, back at Saratoga Springs. The girls wanted to swim for a little while.
Janessa and Brooklynn became fast friends, but Janessa was just very sure that her name was Broccoli. Brooklynn let it go a few times, but then she finally felt comfortable enough to say,
"My name is not Broccoli!" I don't think Janessa really processed that, though, because she pretty much continued to call her Broccoli the whole time they were with us.
They said the water was fine, but when they came out, it was a bit cool.
We didn't stay at the pool very long.
Here's Bella staying warm now that she is out of the water.
Then we went to Downtown Disney,
which was right across the lake.

I think I texted
Wigd about how neat that was.
Outside Earl's, I took this picture and sent it to some of you.
Sorry I couldn't get it without people. They were just going in one after the other to have pictures made, so there was no empty time.
There was no place to sit inside or out, so we parked ourselves here.
I have never had a bad sandwich from the dear old Earl.
