My motto for eating at WDW: Eat till they have to roll you to the plane!!!

Next came the meats!

Steak (it comes out Medium but you can ask for other cooking types)

This was good it was flavorful and juicy! My dad loved it! My mom enjoyed it once she got pieces that were Medium Well.

Turkey and Pork
P1030512.jpg

These were okay I liked the Pork better than the Turkey but I am not a big poultry fan.

Shrimp

P1030513.jpg

These were also yummy but they are messy! Having to peel them apart is such a hassle :headache:

The noodles also came out with the meat and they were good!
P1030511.jpg

They were definitely not as bad as everyone says on their dining reports. I am not sure if they changed the recipe but they weren't bland.

The broccoli was good as well
P1030509.jpg

It tasted nice a fresh and since some of the food was heavy it was a nice change in the meal.

The dessert was probably our favorite part! The Ohana bread pudding served a la mode with Bananas and Caramel Sauce was amazing!

I just wish I had, had room in my tummy to enjoy it!

My dad also had some liquid dessert

The BackScratcher ($9)

OOP: $93
DDP: 3 table service credits
Grade: A
Comments: My parents already plan on eating here when they go back in October!

Once we were done there we took the monorail over to Epcot for their EMH so for one last hurrah before the night was over my dad got the Sultan's Colada ($9) in Morocco.

My dad enjoyed it of course!
I think the bartender thought I was taking a pic of him because he gave me this weird look afterwards :lmao:

Next up: Backlot Express and Tutto Italia

I need to get that apple crisp next week, it looks sooo good!

Oh my, Ohana looks SO good! I can't wait!! And I'm definitely going to have to get me either a Lapu Lapu or a Backscratcher! :woohoo::woohoo:

O'Hana for dinner looks awesome!
We've only been for the Character Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch.
Sounds like dinner is a must-do next time around...

Our plan is to go to our Ohana 5pm ressie and then to EPCOT for MH. How was the crowd for MH?

Ive been such a bad DISer lately because this quarter of school has been insane! I'm so sorry I have been MIA on your PTR but I just saw your dining review and love it! I had the grand marnier slush and it was okay, wish I had tried the other one now that you said your dad liked it better! Cape May breakfast looks really good - I might have to try that next time! Oh and I love your motto for eating at WDW!!!

My parents loved Ohana so I am sure you will have an awesome time! My dad said the drinks are pretty strong though so whatever you choose I am sure you will have a fun time :thumbsup2

It was awesome! I also forgot to mention they had hula dancing and parades around the restaurant for the children so I am sure your kids would have a blast with that!

It wasn't crowded at all! The countries were dead when we walked through them and we went on Test Track and Mission: Space without much of a wait.

Great update! I cannot wait to have a drink, virgin of course, while at WDW. I love O'hana's. I just have to make sure I don't eat a lot before our ressies or I won't enjoy it as much! Keep it coming!!:thumbsup2

Sommerfest in Germany ,the Bratwurst served with sauerkraut is right up my alley , also another thing I didn't know was available , which I'm def checking out next time I'm WDW !

Cape May Breakfast looks oh so good , will be having to try this also next time , we did the dinner two years ago and had super bad service and I vowed never to go back but after seeing your pictures of breakfast I will have to go back for that !

Would you believe I haven't eaten at either CHH or O'Hana's? And I call myself a DISer.

You make them both look good! I would not have liked a bird flying around CHH! :scared1:

So did your dad like the lapu lapu? I hear so much about them that is definitely on my list for next time! :thumbsup2

Hey everyone! I just wanted to check in and say hi! I haven't been able to update this weekend because my family and I participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. If you are not sure what that is it is a 24 hour walk where you raise money for cancer research. Needless to say I am beat :headache:so I will try to get an update up tomorrow and I will respond to any comments then as well! Oh and by the way I am so proud of my team we only had 5 people and we raised $536 and won both of the Team Spirit awards!!!!:thumbsup2

You neglected to say that you were our Captain and responsible for all 5 of us getting invloved! And we actually raised $536 and .75 cents! :rotfl: Whats really great though is our community raised over $97,0000 for Cancer at a time when our economy is awful!

You also neglected to say that the biggest reason we won Team Spirit awards is that you participated in every event they had for twenty four hours including walking a lap in high heels!! I am so proud to be your grandmother and I think your biggest fan!!

Your DR is wonderful - keep them coming! :thumbsup2

Also, your family is lovely. You are just adorable! :)
