My motto for eating at WDW: Eat till they have to roll you to the plane!!!

Well, first of all, I'm loving your DR. There are quite a few meals you had that we're booked for in three weeks, so I'm really excited reading about them. Especially Akershus (gives me a little hope that DD6 may get to see her favorite, Ariel), 'Ohana and really looking forward to Tutto Italia and 1900!

You have a terrific writing style and I am really enjoying your descriptions.

Also you and your family are just wonderful! It's so great that your mom and gram get on and post for you too. Congratulations on your relay participation - awesome job on all the events you participated in - 24 hours and a lap in heels, what a trooper! :yay:

Can't wait for more!

How are the Orange Dole Whips? I want to try plain orange next time. Have you had a pineapple float? They are YUM!!!

Loved your Ohana review!! One of our favs. The bread pudding is the best!

can't wait to hear how you like Tutto! We love it.

I just got caught up and I must say you are just doing AWESOME on your DR! The breakfast buffet at Cape May looked yummy and very relaxing - makes me wish we had picked that over Chef Mickey's (b/c we have been there before). Would you change if you were me?

Thanks again for all your details in your reviews. Looking forward to more.:thumbsup2

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been gone for so long! I haven't been feeling well and I have been trying to get tons of rest and today was the first day I felt like getting out of bed and onto the computer  major improvement!

Well, I did it again. I looked at your food report while sitting here hungry!

Great update! I cannot wait to have a drink, virgin of course, while at WDW. I love O'hana's. I just have to make sure I don't eat a lot before our ressies or I won't enjoy it as much! Keep it coming!!:thumbsup2

:lmao:I always tell you not to do that! Thank you! I would recommend the Strawberry pina colada thing it was pretty good!

Caitlin I have to tell you how much I love your report:) It puts a smile on my face everytime.....my daughter who is 16 will look at me and say "your reading Princess Caitlin's report aren't you?" She said I smile the whole time, you're just the cutest little thing!!!!!:cheer2:

I told Jasmine (my daughter) that she needs to get on here, she needs to bo contributing to my PTR!!!!!:rolleyes1

Keep it coming my girl, you are doing an awesome job!!!!popcorn::

:flower3: thank you so much I am glad I can put a smile on your face! A couple tips on getting Jasmine into the Disboards accidentally leave a good trip report up on the computer she uses. I got into the DIS from my mom who would tell me about the trip reports and now I am subscribed to 82:lmao:

Love the reviews! Looking forward to 1900 Park Fair. We are going for the first time in Aug.

Thank you! We had a lot of fun and I am sure you will too!

Just finally making it over here from your TR , I've so busy with my TR and keeping up w/ others I totally forgot you were doing a DR but I'm here now and I must say I love the title !

OMG Boulangerie Patisserie looks soo good I never even heard of it till your report but I'm def going to stop there next time at WDW , I have a major sweet tooth !

Sommerfest in Germany ,the Bratwurst served with sauerkraut is right up my alley , also another thing I didn't know was available , which I'm def checking out next time I'm WDW !

Cape May Breakfast looks oh so good , will be having to try this also next time , we did the dinner two years ago and had super bad service and I vowed never to go back but after seeing your pictures of breakfast I will have to go back for that !

Can't wait for the next review :thumbsup2

Thank you I am so glad you could come over from my TR! Sounds like you will be having a lot more fun in Epcot now :lmao: Cape May was very nice so definitely worth another try :thumbsup2

One coming up!

Would you believe I haven't eaten at either CHH or O'Hana's? And I call myself a DISer.

You make them both look good! I would not have liked a bird flying around CHH! :scared1:

So did your dad like the lapu lapu? I hear so much about them that is definitely on my list for next time! :thumbsup2

:sad2::lmao: Oh the bird was terrifying!!!! I seriously had to keep my eye on it at all times! My dad definitely liked the Lapu Lapu. He was also surprised how strong all of the Disney drinks were :rotfl:

Your DR is wonderful - keep them coming! :thumbsup2

Also, your family is lovely. You are just adorable! :)
Thank you and thank you!:flower3:

Thank you! Oh I really hope she does get to see Ariel! Thank you it was a lot of fun and I am glad I could help participate in the Relay since it is for such a great cause.

The orange dole whip is very good I have had the pineapple and I prefer the orange. Oh I wish I had, had more room for the bread pudding!

I just got caught up and I must say you are just doing AWESOME on your DR! The breakfast buffet at Cape May looked yummy and very relaxing - makes me wish we had picked that over Chef Mickey's (b/c we have been there before). Would you change if you were me?

It just depends on how old your children are. I would say if they were all above 7 to switch if not they would most likely have a better time at Chef Mickey's :thumbsup2

Just read your report. Love it. Congrats on relay for life.
Thank you!

I had bought a school bread for breakfast the night before at Epcot but I woke up not craving anything sweet :confused3
foodporn080.jpg

I still tried it though and I was not impressed.
It was wayyy to sweet for my taste buds and I think I would have enjoyed it had I had it either a.) fresh or b.) when I felt like something really sweet.

OOP: 1.99
DDP: 1 snack credit
Grade: C
Comments: I would really have to try it again once I wanted something sweet so I could give it a fair review.

Now we had, had lunch plans for Germany but no one felt like eating there so I made reservations for Tutto Italia. My mom did not want to eat there so she opted for the Studio Catering Company in DHS.
foodporn081.jpg

For lunch she had the hot dog, chips and the marble cheesecake
foodporn082.jpg

She did not like the food! The hot dog was not as good as they are at Casey's. The hot dog and the bun did not taste fresh and they did not have a good selection of toppings. In her opinion it was just something to eat.

OOP: 13
DDP: 1 counter service
Grade: -C
Comments: We most likely won't be eating here again but then DHS isn't known for it's counter service.

Finally it was our reservation time! I was soo excited to try Tutto Italia! I had read so many good things about it that I just needed to try it!

foodporn085.jpg

First they bring you out the bread and olives.
foodporn086.jpg

Another no butter place my mom wasn't happy.

For my dad's drink he had the Primavera
foodporn087.jpg

He liked it he just thought it looked like a girly drink :lmao:

To go with his primavera he chose the Scallopini

foodporn088.jpg

He really enjoyed this!

And I chose the linguine
foodporn089.jpg

This was also very good! The sauce was light which helped everything blend together very well!

For dessert I chose the Mocha Tiramisu which is mascarpone cheese, espresso coffee, savoiardi biscuits and chocolate.
foodporn090.jpg

This was AMAZINGI love Tiramusu and this was one of the best I ever had!

My dad chose the Gianduja/Chocolate Torta which is chocolate and hazelnut torte with whipped cream and raspberry sauce.
foodporn091.jpg

My dad really enjoyed this as well.

OOP: 88
DDP: 2 table service meals
Grade: My dad and I gave it an A and my mom gave it a YUCK!
Comments: This isn't a place for picky eaters!

Next up: Sassagoula Float works for breakfast, Beaches and Cream and 1900 Park fare.

I loveeeee Tutto! I'm planning on eating there for my bday when I go in Sept! :) Everything looks so good! Did your mom just pick off of your plates at Tutto?

OMG! I don't know what it is with me reading your TR while hungry!:confused3
Well, great reviews and I just love me some Italian food!!!:lmao:

I am so looking forward to eating at Tutto Italia - thanks for the review. I am glad you liked the Tiramisu - it is one of my favorite dessert. When looking over the reviews I have been torn between trying the Tiramisu and Copetta Sotto Bosco.

Question - I have read on the boards that some places will let you switch a dessert for a side dish when on the DDP. Did you ever try doing that? Just curious because I am not a big dessert person and can not imagine eating one twice a day! :rotfl:

I hope you get to feeling 100 percent soon (sorry you have been sick)!! :goodvibes

All caught up with your reviews. You are doing a great job! Can't wait to read more!

I have really enjoyed your reviews so far.

I am sorry that you weren't feeling well but I'm glad that you're feeling better enough to add more reviews. :grouphug:

First off I want to say congratulations to u & your team on your accomplishments w/ Relay 4 Life ! Second sorry to hear u have been feeling bad :(

Yes, I will be having a lot more fun at Ecpot and considering this is my family & I 's least favorite park , this should help to bring up it's rating ! LOL

Great update :thumbsup2 I've never had the School Bread either , heard about it on hear a lot but after your rating I'm not to sure I want to taste it , plus I really don't care for loose coconut. LOL I totally agree w/ you the things they have to offer to eat at DHS for CS are not appetizing at all:crazy2:. I'm picky eater but I love pasta and bread , soo Tutto Italia is looking mighty good right now !

Love your reviews!!!

thank you!

Actually my mom didn't eat anything besides some bread. She thought everything looked really gross and the spaghetti and meatballs have veal meatballs so even that didn't appeal to her.

OMG! I don't know what it is with me reading your TR while hungry!:confused3

It was good Italian food I am missing that tiramusu

We did try switching and appetizer for a dessert at WGPE but they said no so we didn't bother trying it anywhere else. I just think it depends on what servers you get at what restaurants:confused3 Thank you I am feeling much better today

All caught up with your reviews. You are doing a great job! Can't wait to read more!

Thank you! I am starting to feel a lot better. Yeah Epcot definitely has some of the best food at least I think so! You might like Tutto Italia my mom just didn't want veal meatballs in her spaghetti!

Your Welcome :) I think I would really like Tutto Italia , veal meatballs sound really good ! I'm a picky eater but I really love Italian food of any kind

:goodvibes

Oh, your review is so yummy and fun to read!

Congrats to you and your family on the relay! I too am from Michigan and I think its great that despite the economy here, we are a great bunch of people still willing to help out when we can!

I look forward to reading more! :goodvibes

We love Tutto!!! Jasmine is an Italian food junkie - but I have a sneaking suspicion here it's more for the eye candy than the lasagne:lmao:

I have booked us twice during our upcoming trip to go (she only thinks we're going once)

What can I say...another great review!:worship:
