So DH and I get a Christmas card in the mail yesterday from my parents.
(It's a known fact that my mother picks out all the cards...so I know it's her.)

The front of the card says...

To a Wonderful Son and "Daugher"

yes..."daughter" in quotes.

Totally would have been appropriate if my MIL sent it...but not my mom.

I'm going to visit her on sunday...I'll bring the card...see if she catches it.

Even my DH said "HAHA...you're a "quote" Daughter "qoute"!"

My mom actually likes DH better than me so I could totally see her sending us a card like that!

Next time she asks you to do something, maybe you could tell her to get her REAL daughter to do it for you.

I know I'll show it to her...and she's get this "intense concentration" look on her face...the the lightbulb will go off...and a stream of expletives will come out of her mouth.
