Instead of a party with my sister's chocolate cake and party favors, we will be laying flowers at her grave.

A year ago today no one could've convinced me that the woman I admired more than anyone in the world would not be on the other end of the phone laughing with me about American Idol or discussing the State of the Union.

No one could've convinced me that the woman who had more faith in me than anyone would be watching over me writing this on the day we enjoyed so much after getting over Christmas.

Robin, what a wonderful post in honor of your Mom.
We always had a pizza party for our son and since he can't be here in person, we still have a pizza party for him. We still celebrate his birthday every year. We feel it is a great way to honor him.

My Mother is SO with me right now, I think she knows when her kids really need her... don't all mothers?

My Mom always told me that I always made her feel like she was a "good mother"... it was because she IS. But a good anything never know how good they are.
