Marathon Weekend 2026

So I posted in a fb bst group asking about the goofy finisher shirt because "I'm finished!" was really accurate to how I felt, but I was so uncertain that I would even start the marathon that I didn't buy anything besides pins.

And there's a lady who is allegedly buying me the goofy shirt from the outlet. At 9:30 in the morning. When the google says that they don't open until 10. Her profile looks legit, but it all seems a little....coincidental. And the shirt is marked down to $15, and the goofy hoodie down to $25? That seems......possible.

Has anyone heard about merch being in the outlets already? I'm not seeing any reports, and it's definitely earlier than last year. Unless it's the CM outlet and someone is being naughty.

If you go for it any chance you can get her to try for Men’s L too? (Assuming of course she’s legit!!) I also was a little superstitious about buying it ahead of time.

This! We stayed at SS and went to the golf shop. I bought two hats, two shirts, and a golf headcover. And get this, it was buy one piece of clothing, get the second half off. You won't find that in the parks or at rD.

Agreed. DH and I golfed last year, and the stuff in the proshop was really cute and *grown up* looking.

Are you a golfer? My boys are wanting to bring their clubs down and golf on our June trip. I think they said twilight hours? I know nothing about how golf works at Disney. I’m assuming I need a reservation. Any recommendations for us? To give you background…one is 19, the other 15. They just started playing this year and one plays like happy Gilmore and the other spends most of his time searching for his lost balls.

I can't speak to this specific person, but the merch does show up pretty much immediately. They take it directly to the store(s) rather than warehouse it somewhere. There are professional Disney shoppers on FB too if this person turns out to be a scammer.

Twilight hours are a lot less expensive.

You can make a tee time 60 days in advance and it's done through the lake buena vista golf website, NOT through the disneyworld website. When DH and I went last year it was really cold and the course was just about empty. We played "best ball" and cruised through the first 15 holes before we caught up with a group in front of us in about 2 hours. If you're used to narrow and heavily tree-lined courses (like we have in northern MI), the course at SSR is really open and forgiving.

It is probably best to book a tee time. I think you can book a few months out for Disney World courses. Twilight will be good in June. Much cheaper and with it light outside until after 8pm, they may be able to complete a round depending on which tee time they reserve and how many people are ahead of them on the course. right. i know that. the only thing that's really throwing me off is the timing of it. I posted last night, and she responded this morning at like 730am saying she had seen some of the goofy stuff the day before at the outlet. And that she could look for me this morning when she went back. But I know that the listed hours for vineland start at 10am, and she was "checking out" at 9:30 after I asked about a few things. She also listed the hoodie in 2 sizes. I asked about ears (as a test) and she said there were none. She also offered to grab pins. But....there's NOTHING anywhere else on social media about stuff being in the outlets.

Her profile has over 1000 followers, she's got a bunch of boston marathon stuff on there, etc. But the TIMING is just....suspicious.

I don't believe so. I've only ever seen reports from the Orlando outlets and Cast Connections, if you happen to know a CM.

The rD merch does show up at sawgrass but I'm not sure if me is there yet. I saw some W&D merch as well as the lug bags when I was there a few weeks ago.
