Ahhhh, I must say I am a bit enviouse. My DH and I did that 10 years ago, very early in our relationship, we just up and moved to Florida and got jobs at Disneyworld... honestly one of the BEST times in my life. Unfortunatly, our family back up north really needed us to move back, health reasons, and so reluctantly we did 4 years ago this Jan. I miss it sooooo much and can't wait to go back "home" someday. The perks were fabulous... so good luck Mom!!!

Wow, What are some of the perks? Will it be hard to find affordable housing in Florida?

I'm not to sure about the perks. She is going to be staying with my cousin Jill. She lives about 10 minutes from disney lucky girl!! My mom is trying to decide whether to drive down or fly. She has a flight picked out but she has to decide first.

i have never worked there- or have known anyone--- but as a visitor, my advice..... just tell her to spead some pixie dust EVERY DAY!

Congrats to your mom! DBF and I are planning to move down there and get jobs in 2008 when we have some money saved up. We are really excited and haven't even looked at jobs yet so your mom must be ecstatic!

Congrats to you mom. As far as working there someday...there will be a big DIS reunion! I think we are ALL going to retire and work at Disney!
