:rotfl2: I told her (and the rest of the family months ago to make decisions) There are 10 of us and I made 1 character breakfast reservation loooooooooong ago and told everyone to figure out what they wanted to book it. We kind of figured we'd mostly go our own way, 10 for a meal just seemed hard to do. Now my mom decides she wants to do dinner together and she cant understand why there is nothing available. and my sister cant figure out why she couldnt get reservations for the character breakfast in the AK. :rotfl:

I am finding it hillarious. We've all been going forever (tho rarely ever do reservations) and we know how busy the parks can be, I cant believe they didnt take my warnings seriously :rotfl:

Say "I told you so" :rotfl2: Have fun and a magical time at WDW :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

If your mom is like my mom, that means you'll be leaving the World for dinner at someplace that WILL have reservations for 10 available on short notice! :earseek:

Lucky you made sure you'll all have at least one magical dining experience! :cheer2:

When I was making all of the arrangements for our grand gathering last year, my family was so surprised when I would get on the phone at 6:58am my time to get our Priority Seatings. However, while we were on the trip they were so thankful to have a nice place to sit and eat a good meal during that hectic Thanksgiving week. We didn't tour the parks together most days, but it was nice to be able to get together mid day or in the evening to swap stories and relax a bit. Plus, I can not stand to eat counter meals constantly. I have a more restricted diet a sit down restaurant gives me more choices. During our first 2 trips I found that if I didn't plan the meals, we wound up eating at the food court at our Value Resort. And that gets old fast (unless you count breakfast! Yum.)

You may be able to get something last minute as I'm sure they hold some openings for last minute availability, albeit nothing for 10 people. Hey, you can always just plan to get together at a counter service spot during an off hour and eat together. Takes a bit longer, but at least you're together. Have a great time!

There's nothing wrong with trying, right? I have not had any trouble with my ADRs for either of my upcoming trips. In fact, last night I called and changed my dates for reservations at Jiko and Le Cellier with no problem. Wherever you end up eating, have a great time!

:wizard: As soon as you check in try the front desk. They will find you something but it might bnot be at the best time and place.

Maybe you can be more open with the times you are eating and the restaurants you want to eat at. This past July, I went with a group of 13 people and we wanted to make a reservation for Chef Mickey's that day, but all they had was 9pm. That was too late for us, so we just walked around World Showcase looking for a place that everyone may like, and decided on the French restaurant. They were able to sit us in less than 30 minutes, even though it was around dinner time.
