Hi all,

This is my plan for what will be our first park day on May 4th of next year. Based on this year, the crowd level should be moderate.

We're staying at AoA

Contemporary Resort for Breakfast at Chef Mickeys - try for 7:15 reservation, get to the park for opening at 9am (not so concerned with rope drop/show, just want to get there earlier than later)

Valet park at Contemporary - can leave car there all day - walk to MK

Go Straight through the castle, hang a right at the carousel to Ariel’s grotto

  • Meet Ariel & walk on to Little Mermaid, no FP
  • Half party ride Barnstormer /half ride Dumbo no FP
  • Ride it’s a small world no FP
  • Have lunch at CRT - reservation around 12?
- Enchanted Tales with Belle FP

- Tea Cups no FP

- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP

- Rapunzel FP

Dinner reservation at BOG for 4:30pm

-Make a FP for later before leaving - maybe for Tiana

-Head back to the hotel for a rest. Those who want to head back out for Wishes can do!

Do you see any obvious improvements/issues? Thanks so much!

If you get there basically at rope drop, with well timed FP you should have no trouble getting everything done in Fantasyland before at Noon CRT. At the end of April last year, we did Cinderella/Rapunzel, Pooh, Teacups, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Ariel's Ride, Enchanted Tales (FP), Peter Pan (FP), and Its A Small World all by 11:30ish. We didn't even really rush, just went from one thing to the next. The problem I see with your plan is that your kinda going all directions over Fantasyland. Its not a huge area, but if you will look at a park map I think you could select your rides in a better order.

3 large meals in the span of 9 hours is way too much food for most people - not to mention too much time. I recommend getting rid of at least one of them. (For my family, I would get rid of at least 2 of them.)

You'll get all of done before lunch. We typically get through 11 attractions before noon.

As far as the plan itself goes, even though it's doable timewise, it's kind of all over the place. Take a look at the cheat sheets at easywdw.com - they'll give you a much more streamlined touring plan.

Thanks all! So you think we can complete more than I have scheduled before 12??

I should say, the reason we have so much dining booked in there is because my youngest has multiple severe allergies, so we can't just grab things as we pass or on the go, it has to be a bit more planned than that. That said, I could certainly space them out a bit better...

I looked at the map again - you're right, we can go in much more of a circular pattern and will likely do better that way.

Thanks again!

I hear you on the allergies! My DS has peanut/tree nut allergies and eating TS at Disney is such a treat!!! :) I would space out the meals a bit further though. I think your dinner reservation is the one I'd move quite a bit later, at least 5:30?

You can definitely do more than those 5 items before lunch! I'd still try for a FP+ for Mine Train and maybe even keep Enchanted Tales FP+ but I'd move Cinderella/Rapunzel to right when you get there and save that FP+ for something else. You didn't say how old the kids were so it's hard to suggest other FP+ depending on height requirements. I'd consider Buzz Lightyear for a FP+ if kids are too short for coasters.

Try to meet Tiana in the afternoon since I believe she meets with Naveen only in afternoons? That might have changed though. Do check when her M&G ends though so you don't miss it! Definitely no FP+ for it though.

I always love to hear form other allergy families who have had success at Disney, thank you! So, we are a group of 6 (my mom 56, my brother 36, me, 33, my husband 31, and our daughters - turning 3 and 6 while on the trip). Our 2 year old is ana to dairy, egg, and wheat. We were on the Disney Fantasy in 2015 and spent one day in the Magic Kingdom. We were sort of rushed, so I really want to let the kids experience as much as possible, but without rushing too much. Also, we had such amazing character encounters on the Fantasy that will be impossible to recreate in the parks, but that's why we want to do a lot of character dining. I'm hoping to get as close as possible to the ship experience as we can!

The first day will be just Fantasyland in MK and we will have another day to do the rest later in the week.

Right - I totally knew about Tiana and was just dreaming, I guess. I wish we could fast pass for Tiana, Mulan, Snow White, etc. oh well.

Anyway! I was thinking of hurrying over to meet Ariel first thing, should I switch that to Rapunzel? Does Ariel not get super busy that early?

Here is my new plan:

Contemporary Resort for Breakfast at Chef Mickeys - try for 7:15 reservation, get to the park for opening at 9am

Valet park at Contemporary - can leave car there all day - walk to MK

  • Meet Ariel & walk on to Little Mermaid, no FP
  • Walk on to Barnstormer/Dumbo
  • Head to the Tea Cups
  • Head to Rapunzel FP
  • Ride the Carousel
  • Ride it’s a small world
  • Lunch CRT - 12:30pm
  • Enchanted Tales with Belle FP
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - FP
  • Try to meet Tiana & Naveen
Then head back to the hotel, and head back into MK for dinner around 6:30 or 7pm

I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks! Thanks :)

Cinderella & Rapunzel meet together so that M&G is a bit busier than Ariel. But if you're ONLY doing Fantasyland then you should FP+ Cindy/Rapunzel & do Ariel at ropedrop/as soon as you get there.

Did the girls not want to meet Merida? She's a very long wait if you don't do her right at 9am. If they want to meet her I'd go there first, then Ariel.

Mulan is only at Epcot (China pavilion). You might see Snow White at your CRT lunch. :)

Just an FYI: Cinderella and Rapunzel will not meet together once Anna and Elsa move to Epcot shortly. They will meet separately each with a "visiting princess" so they would each take their own FP if want to meet both.

Thanks guys! I saw that Rapunzel and Cinderella will be meeting separately. We'll FP Rapunzel since I know we'll meet Cinderella at character meals.

We have met Merida before at the park and it was an AWESOME experience. I would love to do it again, but we didn't meet Rapunzel at all on our last trip, so she is priority :)
