Perfectly okay to bring an empty container along.

I'm sure you're right about the other airlines you've flown with, but didn't you say that you hadn't flown with Allegiant before? And you paid for the priority seating allowing you to stow your carry on before anyone else, but I didn't, so that's my concern...I think I'm going to look for a smaller bag, just to be safe...I do NOT want to pay to check my bag.

you know whats funny? I went to seat guru and my seat was at the back of the plane but when I picked it out from allegiant it sowed us my seat was up front. Im now worried !!

Disney scootergal, I just got off the phone with allegiant air, them guys are sneaky!! When I picked my seats ( for the high price they make you pay) It showed I was behind the bulkhead. it showed I was the first to book the flight to LAX and I was the first to book for me and the family. Well guess what they do not tell you ? that I will really not be the first to seat, but that I was in the 10 rows down. I told them that what the plane shoed on there site as I was choosing was the front. they explained that they do not tell us when we book on line, but that the first 8 rows are for handicapped and unaccompanied children. Now thats all fine and dandy, but I am handicapped !!
The lady on the phone was sooooo nice, she said she will put it in that we need the bulk head, not to worry, if we get there a few hours early we can get the seats we choose and all will be well. but again allegiant air is so sneaky about what they are doing and not telling people. I was mortified today to know I paid for priority seating, had to chose my seats for more money, and picked my seats out, and in the end I paid for nothing!!
I plan to get to the airport 2 1/2 hours early,

Wow!! That is very disturbing to learn, Teatime! It's not right that you have to get there super early just to get the seat that you thought you had reserved in the first place. That is VERY sneaky, not showing an accurate diagram for us to select our seats from...well, I found a smaller carry on bag, smaller than the allowable dimensions; hopefully, that will make it more likely that my bag will fit.

I leave August 19th, also I got done again measuring my bags as I worried since you were not sure LOL. Mine are exact to the web sites dimensions so all should be well. but after what they pulled on my seating and all the money I paid to get seats and priority boarding I will not be doing this airl lines ever again.
