My male dog peed on my hubby??

All you dog lovers out there what does it mean when your (male) dog comes up and lifts his little leg and peees.

Marking his territory? My hubby belongs to him only?

LOLOL My DH was telling about a man at work whose cat would do that same thing to his wife. The only way they got the cat to stop.. well the man took the cat into the bathroom and returned the favor

I'm thinking this is dominance thing. Your dog may be trying to move up in the pack.

most likely. He's being territorial.

OMG! The mental picture of that happening to my DH made me LOL! If I were you, I would've had a hard time not laughing when it happened. I know I'm probably being mean, but I have a sick sense of humor at times.

It IS a dominance issue. You need to research this issue and decide upon a course of action. If this is not corrected (funny as you may think it is now) it will escalate. When this happens (and goes uncorrected) most dogs end up in the pound and then put down because they have become too aggressive. ANY dog, but especially large dominant breeds, can do serious harm if this is allowed to go uncorrected.

He is definitely trying to assert his dominance. He's needs obedience training asap before the problem escalates
