I love the clothes you made! I wish I knew how to do that stuff. My mom was really good at it but can't do it anymore after her hand surgeries. I hear ya about the monorail ride! When it comes and drops you off at Epcot and goes through the park....you can get some really good pictures that way! I can't wait to hear exactly what your kids thought of this place! Which coast they prefer, etc.

they loved the monorail. They thought it was awesome. The monorails at DL have windows that go down so they liked that better however we rode the monorail at WDW more obviously and they circled a lake and went through a building. Tough to beat that!

As far as which park they liked better its a tough choice. Both for different reasons. This was exciting because it was their first time but some of the individual rides they prefered at DL. Some at WDW better. I'll try to hit their opinions as I remember them. I'll ask tonight too. They definitely liked the weather in CA better! Morgan is not a girl to get her hair wet.

Thanks for the compliments on the outfits. I took a class at Joann's this past winter. It wasnt as hard as I thought.

Why yes I did. I'll have to tell you our normal DL morning schedule. Coffee and pee til we switch over to iced tea and pee.

I LOVE the Chef Mickey's video....aww! What a magical time for your little guy. Where'd you find cloth just like Minnies??? I want some of that. Maybe my mom can add some layers to the bottom of DD's jeans or something!? I love that cloth! It matches Minnie perfetcly! GREAT update!!!!

Love your trip report. I can't believe there is another Disney cupcake lover I have been babbling to everyone I know about these cupcakes. Anytime someone has cupcakes as a dessert I tell them about the best cupcake I ever had. It was a toon town yellow frosting with yellow cake that I had on our honeymoon in 1993 I thought I was the only one

I'm also a big Fergie lover. As soon as I saw "check it out" I thought "Fergalicious"!

How exciting for him! And for the whole family! I loooove getting autographs, and I'm so bummed that DS8 has outgrown that already. Thank goodness DS4 still loves it!

I know look how proud he is!!! They usually dont care at DL so we dont get them much but this trip we filled 2 books each. Well a book and a half each.

Thanks Lessa! I could feel the dramatic movie music playing all around me as those monorail doors stood open at the Poly.

The Mickey moment was HUGE. Still brings tears to my eyes.

I brought back all my readers a cupcake although it was a 4 1/2 hour flight home and they were devoured over Texas. Somehow I still have issues with Texas.

Well I am happy to bring a little Burgundy into your life. I wont hijack your thread with Anchormanisms but it is part of my Disney ritual. in 2004 it was the in-flight movie and I watched it 2 and a half times during the flight. I was laughing so hard that the air marshall was aiming to take me out with a head shot!

So in 2006 I watched it the night before we left for Pop and this trip is no exception, come Wednesday night I will be having "three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper... and some cheese." as I watch Chanel 4 news team wreak havoc on the streets of San Diego!

As for the cupcakes, its not like we dont have food over here but I think in the US you have taken normally humble foods like the sponge and taken it to a higher level with the adding of frosting and sprinkles.

Bring on the Cupcake Revelations!!!

Oh your post made me cry!!! Good cry! Both of my girls were scared to death at the charater dinners....my oldest is very scared of many things so I know how it is to see your child overcome their fear....it's awesome!

The outfits were adorable and I would have never known about the pocket thing until you said something. They both looked great. The videos are awesome since it shows the full expressions!!

I'm excited for more and also bummed I didn't know about this wonderful cupcakes when I was there last. I'll have to put that in my book of things I want to do when I'm at WDW next!

Thanks for coming out of lurkdome!!! Yeah! Another Arizonan!!! Are you in Phoenix tonight? I was freezing at Jake's football practice, we get in the car and Jeff points out it was only 78 degrees. I thought it was like 50! Weather is all relative. 78 and breezy I was freezing!

You don't get too many Arizonians around these parts... Which just makes us that much more special.
I walk to and from school every day and pass through a greenbelt and it is FREEZING down there. I'm an ice cube after spending a few minutes outside in anything less than 85. Weather is so relative. In WDW, everyone was saying "It's SOOOO hot" and I was just fine. The weather-other than the rain-was pretty nice, especially during 110 AZ days.

Great update! Chef Mickey's is definately on my list for next time. Sounds like so much fun. Your kids outfits are so adorable. I can sew, but I'm not creative in any way, shape, or form. What a lovely story about the cupcake. I hope you get one!
