My Magic+ Will offer "Mapquest for the parks"

MapQuest! Will it also use Netscape? :-) (I realize this outdated reference was used first in the Orlando Sentinel, and was not the OP's, so not teasing you, @Linleedo)

Also it hasn't been called "My Magic+" for a while ;). Cool feature though. Even I occasionally am unsure about which direction to go.

LOL, so I'm not the only one? Ever since they took out Toontown I'm so turned around back in New Fantasyland. (I know that's probably just me, I am known to be directionally challenged in real life)

The dated references are funny, but the tool is a good idea! It would definitely need "real time traffic" (i.e. parade info) to really take it up a notch. If the transport suggestions between parks is any good, then folks here can quit complaining about the Transportation Wizard on ourlaughingplace and finally have a reliable resource to tell people about.

I have no idea what I'm doing in that area. I will admit sometimes I rely on Google Maps a bit too much in regular life but most parks I can muddle through - so not the way it is there. Maybe because I've only been able to get there once since it opened?

Sea World parks' app has had this since last year (at least.)
Which is kind of funny, because I have only been there twice and I don't remember it being at all difficult to navigate. Maybe that's why it was easy to add to the app? The more a park needs it, the more involved the directions may be. . .

Will this be the end of paper maps?

It very well could be. The national zoo in Washington DC charges for its paper maps now. You see very few people carrying them.
Oh, that would be a bummer! I know it seems universal, but not everyone carries a smartphone. Some people I know own them but make a personal rule not to use them on vacation and I know I like the maps as a keepsake sometimes. WiFi or cell signal in the park can sometimes be unavailable, so it would be rough to be 100% reliant on it and then find yourself stuck without.
