My Little Princess is Turning 8 trip report. Completed

And by the way...there is no Bermuda building; we stayed in JAMACIA. Duh!

I knew what you meant. Jamaica is supposed to be a good location.

I just wanted to tell you that your trip report really cheered me up this morning. I woke up and had a really nasty email from a friend. It was a big misunderstanding, but very hurtful. I decided that finding a new trip report and reading it would really cheer me up. This sounds really silly, but reading it turned my sad tears into happy ones. Thanks for sharing your trip!

Second time typing this

Kaylee's Birthday at MK, Part 3....

After we left the character room Kaylee wanted to see the Princesses so we got on the line. Thomas didn't want to wait on line and began to have a meltdown. TT did him yesterday because he freaked out when the wait was longer than 10 minutes. Tom took him over to the play area so we could just leave when we were done. On line we met a really nice family and were chatting with them. They had been chosen to have a private tour of Mickey's House with Mickey and then got to have pictures in Judge's Tent at the end!! They were thrilled with thier morning too .

We waited about 10-15 minutes total. First Kaylee got pictures with Princess Aurora.

When we were done we found the boys and took the train to Frontierland. We passed Main St and the crowds were enormous . When we got to Frontierland we walked over to POC and we were walking over the line. Well Tom & Thomas must have stopped to answer his phone as we were entering the line because we went right and he went left not paying attention. We turned around and they were nowhere to be found, so we went back to the exit since I wanted to ride together. My Cell phone had no signal of course. SO we went back in the ride and then I saw Tom & Thomas getting on the ride on the other side . I was annoyed because I wanted to ride together and see Thomas enjoying the ride! After POC we met up in the store and I was a little POed at Tom, he can't even seem to read the ititnerary and certainly makes no effort to ever communicate. But that is a whole other problem and it was Kaylee's Birthday and we were in Disney so I got over it.

Over by Magic Carpets Aladdin and Jasmine were out for pics. So we got in line. Now Thomas decides he doesn't want to see Aladdin though he makes me watch the movie alot. He wants to see Abu , well maybe at MNSSHP if we go this year. Last year the line was huge though. Kaylee loves Jasmine along with Ariel and Belle. Aladdin asked her if "Tink sneezed in her hair because she had pixie dust in it?"

We were getting hungry and walked over to CHH to get some lunch. Tom takes Thomas upstairs to wait while I get the lunch with Kaylee. He is very considerate . I order our food and then couldn't find the room cards to pay so I empty my whole baggalini right there and I have no room cards. So Kaylee runs upstairs and asks Tom ,and of course he has them. But at least they weren't lost. Now we go upstairs and I have to clorox the table, because men can be so dumb, and take Thomas and kaylee to wash thier hands. If Tom had goten the food this all would have been already. For lunch I got the Anchors away and everyone else got Chicken nuggets & fries since they don't have chicken fingers anymore . Thomas wouldn't eat them though. He wanted my tuna so I gave him half. He took a bite and spit it out and said it tastes nasty . I guess he is going hungry then. After lunch we went on BTMRR with our Dream FP's. They measured Thomas and he made it even with crocs on. I was nervous it woud too much for him but he liked it alot. So we got FP's to ride it again. We realize when we got a few away from BTMRR that I left Thomas misting fan on the ride. So I told Tom to go and see if they found it, luckily they did. While I'm waiting for him I get the kids Ice cream, mickey for Kaylee and Itzkadoozie for Thomas.

Then we walked over to HM and the wait was only 10 minutes. HM was fun like always and Tom took Thomas even though I said I wanted to ride a ride with him for once. Oh well.


Next we walked over to see how long the line was for Magic carpets It was not too bad. Everyone is happily waiting on line when another man and woman who only know how to say "excuse me" cut everone in line and got there slef to the front. No kids jus tthem thinkng they don't have to wait and of course they pretend not to understand anyone including the CM's who did nothing about this. Another lady that was upfront of the line called them a inappropiate name but I had to laugh because it was true. The nice lady behind me says she has seen these 2 people and they have been "excusing" themselves to the front of the line all day . All of us had little kids and were waiting in the line. They need to kick these people out of the park.

Anyway next we rode Jungle Cruise and we had a pretty good girl skipper. I think it took Thomas a few minutes to notice the animals weren't real. When we were done Thomas really wanted to ride Buzz so we walked over to TL. With the FP's it was a short wait.

Of course Tom beat my score. I did try though I think he knows how to get the 100,000 points. I took a redneck photo but it didn't come out clear. Notice I'm trying really hard .

Then Thomas wanted to get a new Buzz laser gun so Tom took him into a store to see fi they had them while I got Buzz FP's for later. They didn't have the one he wanted so we told him we would get it at CR store later since that is where we got it in October, it broke though that's why he wanted a new one. It was time to take a short break before dinner as it was after 2PM now and we were fading fast.

We made it the bus stop and a bus was waiting but loading and ECV and the lady had trouble pulling it onto the bus. I made Tom help her steer it on the bus because she had tried about 10 times. On the bus Thomas fell asleep. When we got back to Pop he woke up.

The kids really wanted to go for a swim but it was 3 PM. So we went to our room and I told them to change quickly and they had only and hour to swim. Of course when we get there the maid is in our room. So we took a short walk to get frozen cokes and came back in 10 minutes. Then we changed into our suits and went to the Hippy Dippy Pool. It was very big and nice and uncrowded even though it was afternoon. I forgot to bring my camera though or watercamara. They were calling all the kids for Big wheel races in the 70's. Kaylee wanted to go and Thomas wanted to stay in the kiddie pool. The races were really funny. Kaylee had to race a boy that was about 13, but guess what she was beating him until the very end and then they tied at the finish line. ALl the kids got a plastic trophy for playing. Then Kaylee ran back to the pool to swim. We stayed for a half hour then went up to the room to shower and and change for our Dinner ADR.

Great update Nichole! Sorry, Tom was not drinking the kool-aid that day. Men! Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em, but can leave them at home for a Disney weekend with the girls!

Anyway, glad Thomas made the cut for Thunder Mtn and was able to ride! I love that ride!

The Pop sounds great for the kids!

Happy to have cheered you up , that is very sweet of you to say. Sorry about your nasty email and misunderstanding . Hopefully it all works out and gets resolved . I love reading other people trippies. Also it's fun to write my own as it helps with Disney depression. BTW how did you like POFQ?? I see the picture in your signature and that you have stayed there.

Leaving him would be so great!! He is just not that into Disney like so many DH's and he can't be bothered reading over the plans or helping to even make them with me . It usually takes 3 days until I get mad and he finally tunes in. But this trip is only 3 days long . Funny I was talking to my DF on the phone today about Disney plans and her DH is the background saying "I hate Disney" and that he is not going to any parks. They are DVC owners and he wants to stay at the BC pool.

Thomas still talks about BTMRR. Pop is fun but it will be a big change for you too since you stay in nice big quiet vacation houses.

Sorry but they were not on the menu anymore. Just nuggets for the adults now too. I guess they were fine as DH and DD ate them but the chicken strips were very good. Some people on the restaurant board I have emailed Disney complaining so maybe they will have them back by December whe nyou go.

Thanks for your kind words! I love POFQ!!!!! I love the quietness of it, the boat ride to DTD, the way everything is close together.....and on and on..... We stayed in building 5 last time and it was next to the pool and kind of diagonal from the lobby/food court. I may be partial to it because it was my first Disney resort, but I just love it!

We stayed in building 5 last time and it was next to the pool and kind of diagonal from the lobby/food court. I may be partial to it because it was my first Disney resort, but I just love it!

Sounds really nice and thanks for posting this. So far it's my runner up after WL. I'm having a hard time deciding.

I always forget the camera when we go to the pool. At Poly we were close to the pool so it was easy to run back and get it. I think it was 3:30 when they did the big wheel races. You can probably check at the front desk just to be sure. 25 more days for you .

I am so bummed about CHH I just posted on my PTR that Bryan and I LOVED their menu and wanted to try it but the boys wanted chicken fingers! Were the nuggets good? I can't believe how rude some people can be I am bad though I am not afraid to voice my opinion and Bryan gets so embarrassed

It was so fun watching Thomas riding all these new rides but part of me was because he is exactly 40 inches and some of the rides are fast or bumpy.

Thanks. I can't believe CHH got rid of their chicken fingers. They said the nuggets were good though. I guess we will be eating lunch elsewhere in October. I voice my opinion alot my DH gets embarrassed too, LOL. Must be a Jersey Girl thing.

I had no idea where it was. Thanks . So when I leave the room where you board the ride is it the next one or the room after?? Is the target Zurg or something else? I need to win in October. If it's a secret then PM me please .

As rude people, sometimes I'm just shocked by inconsiderate people are. I at least try to teach my kids good manners.

Great update Nichole! I totally understand about the husband not wanting to follow the plans or get involved in the planning. Erik can only stand to go to WDW with us maybe once a year and only for a weekend. It works best for both of us that way.

Love all the princess pictures with Kaylee - nice to capture those little girl shots while you can.

I was cracking up at your Buzz picture - I look the same way in mine - very intense, trying to win. I never do though. Against Sam, yes, but not against any other adult.

The Big Wheel race at POP sounds like such fun!
