My latest Fiesta purchase for the Fall season, and a look at my Spring/Summer collection

I love the Paprika! We use them as our everyday dishware and I have every color of the rainbow... working on my transition colors, lol! I guess I am the oddball in that ours does get hot in the microwave... I use a hot pad when I have to nuke anything now so I don't burn myself.

I can vouch for them taking a lot of abuse - I have accidentally knocked them in the sink and against the counters but so far no chips!

Did anybody else pick up the Fiesta knife set that was on the Amazon deal today? I bought it to give to my DM for Xmas, but may have to keep it for myself ;)....

Terri

I don't think anyone answered the question about Xmas dishes. They usually release retailer exclusive designs. Belk, Dillard's and kohls have had exclusive designs in my area.

I love my fiesta ware! I searched and searched for a lead free dinner plate and was shocked at the lead content of many, MANY well-known, oft-used brands. Even extremely expensive brands. Fiesta ware was the only one I could find that was heavy, made in the US of A and free of lead. I LOVE it! It washes well, holds up well, feels substantial and well made and can handle the oven and microwave. I have turquoise and paprika but looking to add others.

I bought my first Fiesta wear 4 years ago and I love it!! I also use different colors seasonally and my DH thinks I'm nuts for moving the Cinnabar and Chocolate out of rotation for Spring and Summer. :) Whenever I have Kohl's cash that I don't have a use for, I buy more. Can't have too much Fiestaware.

I really want to do a small set of red, white and blue next year for my table on my back porch next year for the 4th of July.

Maybe someone here can help me with some fiesta ware bowls I have they are older and I can't find any info on them

I found someone locally who goes to the big sale in VA every year and brings it back and sells it for profit.

I don't like the 4 piece sets. They don't have the right plates or mugs and I don't use a saucer.

So, I went to her and got close to a place setting of 12 of the following:

18oz. mugs
lunch plates
dinner plates
large soup bowls

I also have a variety of serving platters and bowls.

I love it.

We must be too hard on our dishes. The plates (well used) have knife marks all over them. Both my red and yellow. Now we do use them daily so I suppose I shouldn't complain. But sadly I am on the hunt for sturdier dinnerware. Thinking Denby. (but I'm too cheap)

I only like to use solid white dishes myself but your summer place settings look very pretty. If it's not solid white I don't like to eat off of it or use it. :) So if you don't eat off of them, do you just dust them off/rinse them every few days or what? lol

My fiesta dinner plates are white and my accent pieces are color. Best of both worlds, that way. Fiesta are our every day dishes and I love them.

Big sale in VA? Or are you talking about the factory sale in WV? I'm in Va, and if there's a Fiesta sale here I want to know about it! :)
