I should preface this by saying that I was wearing my "100 Years of Creating The Magic" Castmember t-shirt from WDW" .... You would expect that I would get the royal Disney treatment, right? Wrong! The two CM's on the floor were both standing at the cashwrap. One was ringing up a guest (slowly I might add) and the other was just gabbing, and talking on the phone.Originally posted by exDS vet

Then I thought that maybe nobody recognized me by what I was carrying because the stores don't carry WDCC anymore, and the castmembers might not know what WDCC is. But the t-shirt, c'mon.
PLEASE! Just because you wear a CM T-shirt you expect to get the Royal Disney Treatment? Anyone who goes on ebay can get those too you know - it doesn't mean you're a CM or former CM.
When I go into the stores, I don't expect special treatment just because I am a former CM. When I was a CM I NEVER treated a CM any different than I treated a guest (which was with the utmost respect and kindness) because everyone was given pixie dust and disney magic equally. It was a pleasure helping everyone!
