Made it through another day. Dealt with a lot of paperwork today including insurance company regarding DD12's orthodontia (long story!) and was very tempted to have a major junk binge, but I resisted
. I had such good intentions for exercise today even though it was in the 50's and +30 mph winds. I dropped DD3 off at preschool and headed to the beach for a walk and it started to rain
. Thought I would try again while DD's were at swim practice - it hailed! Over the weekend we were in the pool and BBQing, now this
Weird weather... For dinner, I kept plugging stuff into fitday to see if I could have it: chips & salsa (no), quesadilla (no). It was good for me to do and just stick with my soup. I still have too many carbs & not enough protein I think, but I have gotten the fat under control, at least.
8a - 1c grapefruit, 1c GoLean Crunch, 12oz skim milk
12p - Sweet & Salty granola bar
1:30p - wholewheat toast w/ 1T PB & 1/2T marmalade
2:45p - apple
6:45p - clementine orange
7:30p - 1.5c tortilla soup w/ 1/2c added chicken breast, 10 grape tomatoes, 12oz skim milk
Totals: Cal: 1224, Fat: 25g, Carbs: 195g, Fiber: 24g, Protein: 67g
4 f/v
104oz water

Amy - it is so tempting to try a "quick fix" for the weight loss, but I know that is not the right way to go long term. I am frustrated to be back in the 160's again. Eventually I will get to my goal, I just want to be there NOW (sigh!)
AmyM - I really do like the way I feel when exercising, and with the weather getting better and the longer days, I know I will get out there. I also know I need to come up with a "winter" exercise solution. Hopefully by the time winter rolls around again, I'll be so addicted to running/walking again, I won't mind going out when it is not nice outside.
or maybe I'll find a good gym.
Jamie - it is great to see you back! We had a great time at WDW and then on our cruise.
Tracy - thangs for the support

The good news is I've already lost 6.5 of those lbs. I'm afraid the remaining 4.5lbs maybe real though and harder to get off.
Sorry about the winds. They really were awful. It is nice now though except it is still cold :brr:
