My invoice is very, very wrong...:-)

I originally booked Free Dining with the bounceback for a checkin date of 9/20/09. I just pushed it back to 11/24 with a checkout date of 12/01. My quote was $2,300 for 5 people at Riverside.

What my invoice now says is Checkin 9/20 and checkout 12/01 for $2,300. Final payment is due 8/06. So if I pay this off on 8/6, do you think Disney will let me stay at the Riverside, with free dining, for 2.5 months for $2,300? :)

One year we started our trip out at AKL- but after one night I decided I wanted to go back to where my home away from home was... Ft Wilderness cabins. The move over was a nightmare!
But we finally got settled in and cont. on with our trip. Well, come the last day of our trip, there wasn't a checkout invoice on my van. We went to the front- told them I was ready to check out. Received my invoice and headed to the car. I get in and hubby says, there's a CM chasing after you, I think? Sure enough he knocks on my window and asks, why are you leaving?
Hmmm, time to go home?? (sorta seemed like a silly question)
He says, but you have 1 more night, 1 more ticket and food remaining on your package.
I looked over at hubby knowing full well we didn't. We had used that on our first day at AKL. I explained to him we didn't - about our change over. He says well, we have you do so stay and enjoy.
We almost did but thought for sure Disney would find their error and we would end up paying for it.

We left- the following week I received a check from Disney for a few hundred dollars. HUH????
I called - asked what it was... a refund for checking out early. Are you kidding me???
I again explained the situation- I was advised to cash and not worry about it.

From what I was told when we moved over the package started over like new- so it showed we still had 1 night, 1 day passes and food available. And we left early- Disney sent us a refund. HOW nice of them, eh??

So did I ever deposit the check? One will never tell :rolleyes1

My invoice is showing something very close to yours. The dates shown are my original dates, with the modifications. I have called several times about this. Finally, they got it right....well almost. They are still one day off. I will worry about that later. The price I am paying is correct for the number of days I will actually be there. Therefore, I will not concern myself with the days! Simply not worth my efforts any longer. Now, yours....wowza!!!! Just be sure you are paying the correct amount. LOL
 
My only concern would be that they will cancel the vacation if you don't show up in August, so I suggest you head down there and try to stay the whole time ;)
 
That happened to us too when we changed our dates, the paper copy was wrong, but I think I called and asked for a new email copy. It also had us staying for a month at the old rate.
