Totally agree. I think it will be booked solid. All you have to do is look at VIP tour pricing and how many people sign up for that. There are plenty of people who will pay this kind of money. We're in--at least once.I hear you, but they only need to convince ~18,000 people per year that it's not. Seems doable.

That’s a really good point.
I do wonder if, 5 years down the line and the novelty has worn off, it might become a hotel without the immersive experience.
They will lower the price somewhat but then probably get rid of most of the actors and immersion. So basically motel 6 with some Star Wars branding. This is my thought as well. Once the initial demand wears off, they may realize that there is not enough continuing interest to fill the hotel at these prices. But they many not be able to lower the prices while still maintaining the components necessary for the completely immersive experience. I have a hard time seeing the demand sustaining this immersive experience long term.
There are a total of only 100 rooms and suites in the Galactic Starcruiser, with new "departures" starting every other day. That is, approximately 180 departures per year. If you estimate 3.5 guests per room, that works out to about 63 thousand people per year who will get to have this experience. According to Themed Entertainment Association, Walt Disney World has an average daily attendance of 57 thousand... Let that sink in. Only a small fraction of people on planet Earth will ever get to have this Starcruiser experience.I think once this Star Wars Resort experience opens I can honestly say it will fail because people will not stay because of the price alone and once it opens i'd give it five or six months before the prices will get lower and they will probably get lower once Christmas 2022 hits.
If you really want to know what the experience is all about, you should review the information on the Galactic Starcruiser website. Suffice it to say, what has been revealed about this so far bears absolutely no resemblance to what you seem to be imagining. But already Disney is promoting it like crazy by having Youtube ads for it. But for the mega price what can Star Wars fans do that makes it so pricey. I mean you expect a Star Wars themed room much like a child's bedroom with Star Wars posters on the walls and you can have a Chewbacca or Yoda plushie sit on your pillow to cuddle with while you go to sleep. But I also think for the hardcore Star Wars fan it will be worth it and if they have a character breakfast where you can take photos with Han Solo Luke Skywalker and the rest of the Star Wars gang but as I mentioned this resort will fail and not do as well as the other Disney resorts and they should've done something a lot better and cheaper
If this goes well, I eagerly await the Harry Potter competitor. THAT would be worth paying for IMO.
