My grandmother had a stroke this afternoon. This is the same one that had the blood clot not long ago. She lives with us and had a slight dizzy spell last night. It didn't last long and her vitals were normal. This morning she got up, fixed her coffee and went to the church. When she came back she took a nap and had gotten up and we found her passed out in the refridgerator. She couldn't have been there longer than a minute or two. Anyway the ambulance came and after all the tests they did say it is a mild stroke. She is 87 years old and of course at this age anything isn't good....but finally her speaking is coming back to normal. It was very blurry for a while. You could see that in her mind she knew what she was trying to say but couldn't get it to come out of her mouth. I feel so bad for her! My mom is holding up okay for now and wants to stay at the hospital tonight. Anyway any hugs, prayers, candles anything would be appreciated!

{{{HUGS}}} and thanks for always being here!

HUGS AND PRAYERS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!

I'm sorry to hear this, Beth. I went through this with my Dad a few years ago. Sometimes if they get the medication into them fast enough, it will lessen the after effects.
Hoping and praying that this is the case!

I'm sorry about your grandmother. It is hard for us to see our grandmother's helpless like that. We went through that with my grandmother a few years ago. Maybe she will be okay. Mine will be celebrating her 90th birthday this Saturday. May your grandmother have many more years also.

Prayers for you and your family, Beth. {{{HUGS}}}
