Thanks!! We love that ride too, and we were testing out our new toy LOL it was fun, I still have one more installment to do, hopefully I can get it done tonight, then Tyler and I met up with Tink yesterday, so need to update that one too. Thanks for sticking with me!!

Next plans, this weekend on Sunday, I have a friend who needs a fun day, so we'll meet her in the afternoon at DHS, and then Monday we're doing universal with my mom's side of the family, then the following weekend Leanne comes!!!!! I'm excited to see her again!!!

Yes!! Great time!! We didn't even realize it was that long until after dinner!! That's how much fun we were having!! I haven't done that long in any park in a very long time. Let alone WALKING!! AAHHH!! Yea, I paid dearly for that one, trust me! I had a heat rash ALLLL over my shins and such, only had that once before with Sylvia. Anyways, gonna go update the last part, then upload pics from yesterday with Tink!!

Left you guys hanging long enough, time to finish the day!!!

We left AK and headed to DHS. We wanted to hit the 4:30 showing of LMA. Chris just LOVES that show, and Mel hadn't seen it before. We got there early, so we had time to ride some rides. DH always has to go straight to TOT, so that's where we went. We yelped and hollered and had a grand ol time!! After that we went to RRC. Mel LOVED that ride too, she had been on it before, but it's been a while. My guys are always goofballs, and tried on the rocker hair at the end of RRC.

After that we had time to run to TSM. The handicapped part was backed up, but since I was walking, we didn't have to wait for the special car, we got right in. I got this of the guys across from us.

Goofballs, pure goofballs!!! Mel had never been on this ride, and now it's her new favorite!!!! I love this ride too, but it does hurt the shoulder. But, I still do it!! I got some good pics waiting for bathroom breaks, and smoke breaks before heading to the LMA theater.

I just love the Green Army Guys!!! They're cute!! This one was hiding. LOL

Waiting outside to go in...

I can't do stairs, so I was wondering how we were gonna avoid that, since there was a long line to get in. We go there soooooo much, we know quite a few of the guys and gals that work there, and the old guy George was outside, we asked him, and he said to use the ramp. Ramp?? They got a RAMP?? LOL We saw another buddy of ours Jim, and he took us to the right place, and we were in the front row!! AWESOME view of the show, once you got past the metal bar!!

I LOVE that they added Lightning McQueen!!! Anyways, for the final part, most of you guys know that they pick a kid to trick with the remote car. Well....the lady goes to the SAME side all the time, behind the directors chairs that are in front of the control booth. Sit to the left of the control booth, and jump up and down, and you have a chance to have your kid get picked. The lady went up about 5 seats, found a spanish speaking kid, asked if he understood, and he didn't, so she declined him, and headed straight for Tyler!!!!! Chris got good pic of the screen while he was up there.

He was taller than everyone!! LOL He's in the grey shirt!!

He played it off really well when the trick came. We've been trying to get him picked forever!!! But, we're always in the nosebleed sections with my chair, and they don't go up that far. So, without the chair being on the right side of the seats paid off. Tyler only wanted the pin!!

After that, Tyler was on top of the world. We went to dinner at 50's prime time, and had a ball!! We had the same waitress that we had with Sylvia last year!! We liked her, so that was a good thing.

She gave Mel a glowing Tinkerbell and clipped it on her birthday button for her.

After that, we headed to the Great Movie Ride. Something slow to help our dinner settle. We had an AWESOME CM on that ride, and we were in the front row. Tyler was sitting right by the driver!! She is in the college program, so kinda young, and Tyler was flirting with her!! After the ride, she kept us aside to show us the harder hidden Mickey's in the loading area with a flashlight, and Tyler got a hug. My camera had run outta battery at that point, so I didn't get a pic of it, but it was cool!!! After that, we went BACK to TSM to ride again with Mel, and then one last run on RRC before we left to come home.

AWESOME, AWESOME day with my oldest and dearest friend!!! We'll both remember this day for a long time. I got her the military 4 day ticket, so she has 3 more days, and I hope she thinks of me when she uses them. She probably will.

Love the update . How cool that Tyler got chosen at LMA. The look on his face is pure concentration. I often wonder how they determine who they will choose for stuff like that? Tyler was chosen one time to "pilot' the boat on the Jungle Cruise, I think he was like 11, so that was a while ago................

We haven't eaten at 50's because I don't know that they have much Dale would eat. I may make an ADR there for our March trip and just tell Dale and Dallas that they are going to have to find something on the menu to eat , I get so tired of eating pizza and hamburgers .

Oh, tell Chris that I love the new do..........

Thanks girl!! Yea, he's been jumping to do that for the pin for a long time!! I think our new worker buddy Jim put in a word for him, cause the lady picking the kid walked right to him after the hispanic kid. I felt bad for that kid too, we're there all the time, and that was just a once in a lifetime thing for a kid, cause it is so hard!!! There was some lady that recognized him afterwards and asked to take his picture. It was cool. Definitely something to remember!! I just wished the battery on the video camera wasn't dead!!

That time it didn't rain at all!!! It looked like it, but we didn't get anything all day!! We got lucky with Mel. The time before, which was the weekend before with Kim, It poured in buckets. Maybe we can blame the rain on Kim???? ROFL!!! She's gonna smack me when she sees this!! LOL

Thanks Teek!!! It has been fun so far!! Gonna have to take a vacation from DW until my sister leaves town, they're doing Universal on Monday, not sure if we're gonna get WDW in this weekend or not. Maybe on Sunday we can sneak over there, now that I know DH is off monday and tuesday!!

Little update on the story for this weekend, my Mom's birthday is on Saturday, she turns 60 so all she wants is a steak dinner, and spending time with us. Oh, and a chocolate cake from publix. yea, we're NOT gonna let this one go by without a few surprises thrown in there!! My mom's youngest sister and my sister live in Arizona, and they're flying in on Friday and staying with my Aunt Donna. Then, they're gonna go knock on mom's door on Saturday and surprise her. Mom has NO idea they're coming at all!!! So, we'll have our new playtoy ready for that surprise!! So, my mom is gonna have all 3 of her sisters, both her girls, her grandson, and her only niece with her for her birthday!! And then there's like 11 of us total going to Islands of Adventure to see WWoHP on Monday. Hoping for good crowds for that day!! Anyways, gotta update monday's pictures with Tink!!! I'll get to that soon, I promise Tink!!!!

Sorry, have gotten a little behind!! Taking a minute to update one day, then upload pics tomorrow too!!

So Tyler didn't have any school this past Monday, all the teachers had a workshop or something like that, so no school. I asked if anyone wanted to join us for the day, and Tink answered the call!! We got there a little early because of Anakin's appt, I wanted to get to MK at RD, but I wasn't feeling good the night before, and wanted to make sure I slept good. We got to MK at about 10:30, and hopped on the Monorail.

We got to MK, and knew we wanted to head to Tom Sawyer Island before Tink showed up, so we hopped on the train, and headed to Frontierland. We were in the WAY back of the train.

Once on TSI, we went thru the caves and over the barrel bridge. I had my meds in me, and was feeling pretty good for the day so far, so the bridge was ok for me for once!! Usually TSI is hard for me to get thru, but this day was ok.

Tyler wasn't feeling it like he usually does, and we found some chairs by the river, and sat for a little bit. I don't think he got his beauty sleep this day LOL

After that, I got a text from Tink saying they were parking, so I figured I'd go towards the entrance to meet up with her. Told her we'd meet at Casey's and then go eat. I was getting kinda hungry by then too. Tyler was resting on the benches by the cartoons LOL

While waiting, the CM that Anakin gave the sprinkles too was talking to me a little bit, it wasn't busy in the store at all. I found a bag with something someone purchased in it sitting on the shelf. I asked the CM if she knew it was there, and she didn't see it, and grabbed it and took it somewhere. When she got back, Tink was there, and Anakin was trading with her.

So we left there, and found Tiana's line open, so we got in line for it, and Tiana was really good with him. Anakin just loves the characters, and he has that personality that they love him too!!!!

We ate at Columbia Harbor House, Tyler got the chicken nuggets, and I got the fish. It was yummy, and it was nice to sit, eat and talk. And it was cool in there!! LOL After that Tyler woke up!! We went and rode HM. After that we headed to Tomorrowland, Tyler LOVES the shop there with the Star Wars stuff in it. He found Yoda, that kinda looked scary. He had to tickle all of us with his hair!! I got him a lego set in that store.

After that we went to Buzz, and Anakin and Goofy showed us how it was done!! LOL This was my score!!

After that we got in line for C&D, and Anakin is just too cute. If I'm remembering him right, he wanted this pose, not the characters LOL I wanted a pic with them, so Tyler had my camera, got this one of Anakin, and then one of me.

After that we went to ride the TTA Peoplemover, and it was nice. Only stopped once LOL

We got off that, and Buzz's line was closed, we went into the store real quick and a CM checked to see when Buzz was coming back out.

After that we headed to Space Mtn, where Tyler, Goofy and I rode. It was fun, and I'm sure Goofy appreciated that he didn't have to ride alone!!

After that, we played in the arcade for a little bit, and then Tyler wanted to hop to DHS to ride ToT and RRC, so we said our goodbyes, and headed out. On the way out, we found Push, I haven't seen him out in a while, so it was nice to see him again!!!

We hopped to DHS to find the park about empty!! We headed straight for ToT, and this was the line!!

I asked them where all the people were, it was nice to be able to walk right into the first room!! We rode RRC, and got some ice cream. We headed out thru the stores, and Tyler thought I'd look good in this hat. I'm not sure I liked it tho LOL

So, we headed home so I could make dinner and get Tyler ready for the school week.

Next up, we hit DHS friday night to see Jenn (disneyceliac) And give her some good cheer, since she needed cheering up. I'll try to update those pics tomorrow inbetween laundry loads, and before monday and our Universal day!! And I'll update my mom's surprise!!! Enjoy your saturday night everyone!!!!

Hi Christie, this is a great idea! We are over in Palm Bay and have been doing the same thing. We've got passes to the other parks too so have been going to Orlando on the weekend and just picking one to go to. Maybe I'll make a blog type thread as well.

We should meet up sometime since we're coming from close areas! I've been tring to cover every square inch of Disney while I can.

I cannot believe you saw PUSH!! We were looking for PUSH on our way to Space Mt. DH was checking out all the trash cans. Guess you didn't hear our conversation? He was trying to be discreet so ds couldn't hear him.

It's funny about the Buzz score. You were stopped right at that target that Anakin hit 10 times and got the 999999 score. I got 641,000 some, I hit that target 5 times.

Dale posed Anakin for the picture. He put his feet where they should go and his arms into position.

It's not that bad, really. I don't like the sensation of falling, but DH drug me on there so much, it's grown on me. There's nothing else besides falling that I'm afraid of, I just don't like getting the crap beat outta me. That happened friday night on Star Tours!!! It's fun having a distinct goal for the parks. When I'm there, it gets me thinking, OOOO I gotta go to THAT one, since I haven't done that yet LOL I did get this idea from a couple others on here, and it's been fun so far!! We're going to Islands of Adventure tomorrow since my sister is in town, she wants to see the HP stuff LOL
